Gas Pressure Like Crazy

These gas struts are typical of most aftermarket gas struts for automotive use: they are built well though a bit longish and contain almost too much gas. They were easy to install on my Mini Cooper's rear hatch; in literally 2 minutes using a pry-tool, I installed -- one of them. The other on the opposite side of the hatch is still an old one. Now the hatch swings up smooth and steady. If I'd installed both new struts, the hatch would open too hard and fast, and would've required both my arms to force it shut.

Was easy to install about 5 min with a flat head screwdriver and just pop the new ones on. they are pretty strong.

Worked like a charm on my 2005 R53 mini Cooper

My old air spring worn out and the hatch was falling on my head, whenever I opened it to load stuff in the trunk. This airspring is priced right and strong. No more hatch falling on my head. Yeah!! Highly recommend for the mini cooper
