When I got it at first I was a little dissapointed about the size of this locket (I guess it was my fault for not reading the item description). It is much smaller than those regular lockers/homes. I almost wanted to return it. But I gave it a chance and still gave it to my daughter as a car toy for our trip. My almost 5 year old absolutely LOVES it. She can carry it on her neck, she plays with it all the time. Definitely recommend for kids 5 and up
