Bandai Tamashii Nations Ultra-Act Ultraman

If you've read the other reviews on this figure you've probably figured out the amazon has combined the reviews from an older release with this one. I don't know if this would be such a big deal, but apparently that older release came with a cape and this one most certainly does not.It does, however, have a tiny peg in his back along the fin that can be removed, and it looks like something will clip inside there -- I suppose that might be for an optional cape.I'll start by saying this a figure for collectors, not kids. That isn't to say this figure isn't well made, it is, but it seems somewhat delicate - particularly in the hip and shoulder joints. A bit of rough play would trash this figire. The plastic is fairly light weight - if I had one complaint, that would be it.Another reviewers says he hoped the figure would be larger, but doesn't say how big the figure is. For the record he's about 6.5" inches, making Ultraman a bit taller than other Bandai Tamashii figures like Daft Punk.

Amazing action figure!!!

I always liked that time a day when Ultraman was on. It's one of those toys that I never found in the toy's stores. Is very detailed and has a lot of extra pieces.. you can see them in the pictures on the item's page. 9 extra hands, two with rays, two power balls for his chest (one blue, one red) and other stuff. This is not a toy it's for putting on display. It's incredibly posable.

As a life long giant monster and Ultraman fan, these and the Monsterarts are the type of figures I have always wanted! while meant as display pieces, they ARE tough enough for kids toys, as a friends daughter played with the Ultraman figure of mine to no ill effect. I will say that the joints do gradually loosen, and it FEELS fragile. But it isn't. I will definitely get more!

I love this. I didn't think it would be that great based on the pictures but surely better than vinyl. Well it is better and it got sent to the wrong house. I went and set up shipping to my friends house and it was sent to mine. HA!!! I don't know why.

The craftsman work is definitely excellent. But it is a little too pricy for such a small kit. By the way, why Amazon has this 25 words limit? It is simply make no sense...sorry, just because of the word counting, I have to type down something...

The figure seem to be fragile for some reason. I thought it was a fake or something, but after watching reviews on youtube I figured it was real. Then I figured out why it felt like that, it says made in china.

This is probably the most amazing action figure I have ever owned. The engineering of the articulated joints makes this a very posable and balanced figure. He can do handstands and balance on one leg, crane kick style. The additional hands and action pieces make this a very fun toy to have.

I'm surprised by how many dynamic poses this figure can hold. The effects parts are really cool and accurate to the show. If you are into the Japanese giant monster genre this original Ultraman figure is hard to pass.The plastic used is very light and although some might find it feels kind of cheap, the light weight helps with balancing the figure on those dynamic poses.Great improvement than the first release.

It is not as expected. Cheap-made. I have to hold it carefully. So fragile !

デッサン人形として購入。かっこいいポーズをさせるには文句なし。なにより前屈みになれるのがとても良い。しかし他の可動フィギュアに慣れてしまったので二の腕、太腿が回転しないことに物足りなさを感じてしまった。ここが動けば出来るポーズが増えるのに…と思ってしまうが、ウルトラマンのかっこいい太もものラインを崩してしまうことになるのでこれは高望みだろう。そもそも用途が違う。そのこと以外は満足のクオリティ。
