I do not need it.

With the right tool (a drain wrench) and a wide flat head screw driver, removing your old drain and installing this is a snap. Just make sure to have plenty of rags and a brass brush for cleaning the gunk off the fixture after you've removed your old drain. The cover for your old lever based drain comes with this kit - but it may not be quite as wide as the one you used to have - this _just_ covered the old one. A generous dollop of plumbers putty and some teflon tape when screwing in the new drain and you're done.It's holding up OK as far as I can see and - compared to the old lever based stopper - no drips.

Easy to install and great value for the money

Pop up actually works not like those I tried from HD and Lowe’s. But wish it included a 2 to 1 screw conversion plate for the overflow cover. Otherwise 5 stars!

Says this product is “meant for a 2 inch drain” but it most certainly not. It is meant for the standard 1.5 inch drain. I needed one for my old 1950’s bathtub which has a 2 inch drain. Thankfully i found they make an adapter, so this product is still of use to me! Seems to be decent quality. Also I should note that the tip-toe drain cap is made of plastic and not metal.

In my tub, it was very easy to install, but the lip combined with the O-ring you put under it, makes it so there is always a small ring of water around the circumference that never drains

As others have said, the brushed nickel finish is a little off compared to my expensive faucet, but it's close enough for me. Using a dumbbell wrench, removal of the old drain and installation of the new one was very easy. Highly recommend $10 toward a wrench, and not trying to use the handles of pliers, etc. Don't know about the longevity yet, but it's been in for about a month and works great every time.

The only problem with this drain is... the drainage. Due to the large diameter of the internal mechanism (larger than the one it replaced), way too much of the drain opening is obstructed. When using the shower, this isn't a problem, however my tub spout puts our more water than the drain can handle, and the bath starts to fill up.Otherwise, I've been using it for about 6 months, and everything has held up well. Installation was simple using a drain removal/installation tool (purchased separately).

The push piece us chrome while the rest is satin nickle as it should be. Would appreciate the proper color ‘push’ piece being sentUpdate June 30-seller has not bothered to contact or resend proper color ‘push’ piece.
