Review: Good, gentle on stomach - UPDATE: So I took these for three months before TTC and got pregnant fairly quickly. Currently about halfway through my pregnancy and my bloodwork looks good and baby is growing well! I did have a huge problem with the taste during first trimester, but managed to force them down. Now I'm back to having no problem with the taste. I'm almost tempted to dock it a star for how bad it tasted during first tri but YMMV so I didn't. It's done everything I wanted and the main downside is just the cost compared to some cheaper brands. I have not had any issues with constipation or keeping it down. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I started taking these because I will be TTC soon and wanted the Folate now, and wanted to figure out a good prenatal now. I am mildly anemic and have attempted taking iron supplements before, but they made me feel so nauseous and sick that I stopped. Due to that, I was willing to spend a bit more on a prenatal that could actually get some iron in me and keep it down. This one with the two pills per day instead of one, less than 100% iron, and NO calcium to hinder the iron absorption, sounded like a perfect fit. Very happy to report that I have had no issues keeping these down, even taking them on an empty stomach. I feel more energetic than normal. It has a slight citrus taste, I can't say it is a good taste, but it is not repulsive and does not leave an aftertaste. The pill is large but that's to be expected of a two a day/one a day multivitamin pill, I think. Particularly with the iron. If large pills are a problem for you I'd recommend looking for something with more frequent but smaller doses. I plan to take Megafood's DHA & choline supplement as well as a vitamin C supplement while pregnant. If I take a blood test during the pregnancy I will update this review with the results...
Review: Great nontoxic supplement for pregnancy/PP - Love these prenatals! I took these during my pregnancy and have continued taking them postpartum. I love that they have a nice taste to them. They taste a little sour like a lemon. I also love that the ingredients are really clean. I was looking for a prenatal with folate and not folic acid and these have folate. They are sometimes a little hard for me to swallow if I don’t have enough water in my mouth. Other than that I’ve been feeling great taking these postpartum everyday. I included a video so you can see how large the supplements are. Highly recommend these for any mama looking for a non toxic prenatal to take during pregnancy and postpartum.

**Q: What is the heavy metal ppm per serving? I would like the actual numbers please. Thank you!**
A: I guess the issue with that is they are not fda approved so there’s no way to check if they have been tested for heavy metal ppm. Check with the company? I’m not the seller or anything I’m just another customer.

**Q: No magnesium in this formula. Is anyone else concerned about that and supplement with magnesium on the side?**
A: Not concerned as far as with the product itself, but my opinion is to take a separate magnesium supplement as most multi's either include no magnesium at all,  or a very minimal amount. It is not a reflection of this vitamins quality. I have always taken a separate, high quality magnesium supplement to ensure I am covered. Magnesium is definitely an important mineral and we tend to be magnesium deficient

**Q: What happened to the folate?**
A: Your question isn't very clear...but yes there's folate, not folic acid (the natural ingredient folate as opposed to the man made version - folic acid).

**Q: Do these work well for breastfeeding mothers?**
A: I'm still nursing my 15 month old and I started taking these as a prenatal. I don't know about "work well" but I love them and definitely don't think they've hurt my supply what-so-ever.

Love these prenatals! I took these during my pregnancy and have continued taking them postpartum. I love that they have a nice taste to them. They taste a little sour like a lemon. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing ingredients!

It has a very mild unpleasant taste (isn't a big problem, it doesn't linger or anything) and every once in a while I have a moment of struggle trying to swallow it. If it bothered me enough I'd get their mini version instead. But the ingredients are top notch (+ so comprehensive) and I've never felt sick from these. I take these with the Baby & Me 2 "DHA & Choline" and between those 2 get everything I need and don't have to worry about making sure I eat specific things every day to supplement. I should note I did accidentally get pregnant on these which was my fault (happy accident), but not sure if it would've happened if I wasn't taking these. Lastly, my hair has been rapidly growing after years of breakage so now I never want to stop taking them. Would highly recommend!! P.s. this is the longest review I've ever written but I feel very strongly about these!
