CeraVe Healing Ointment has become a staple in my skincare routine. It’s incredibly soothing and does an amazing job at locking in moisture, especially on dry patches, chapped lips, and irritated skin. A little goes a long way, and it creates a protective barrier without feeling heavy or irritating. I love that it’s fragrance-free and gentle enough for sensitive skin. I’ve used it overnight on dry areas and wake up with noticeably softer, calmer skin. It’s also great for hands, cuticles, and even minor skin irritation. If you struggle with dryness or need something reliable to protect and repair your skin barrier, this is absolutely worth keeping on hand. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Unfortunately I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of money on products specifically eye creams, that make promises they don’t keep. This product was not only affordable but came thru on the results. It’s far better than any other eye cream I’ve ever used and I also put it on my forehead and around my mouth. A little goes a long way and my skin is soft and plump in the morning!!

I had a sample size of CeraVe Healing Ointment for a year now. Have tried to find a small size to carry with me. Amazon came to the rescue! 3 oz and I can carry it easily in my purse. Comes in a squeezable tube. The product works fantastically on my hands and feet. I was getting those weird little cuts and snags by my finger tips. Two nights of using the ointment, and the problems are soft and healing - no more snagging or cringing when washing my hands. Feet, let’s just say they are finally soft again. There are several size options, as mentioned I went with the 3 oz. There is not scent to the ointment at all. Goes on smoothly, isn’t greasy, and absorbs well.

A versatile skincare product that does it all. My favorite thing about this product over Vaseline is the squeeze tube which prevents contamination. I do not like using a tub or any scoop application at all. This has become the best lip treatment for me to use on my dry lips, especially at night. It helps heal and protects as an occlusive. I also use it on the skin around my eyes before applying my retinoids to ensure that does not get absorbed and disrupt my eye glands.

This product is a good basic in my skincare rotation and I like the ingredient list better than aquaphor but I do seem to find it can sometimes cause redness on my hands and I’m not sure why. It’s very minor and a very very slight stinging feel which is odd for this type of product, aquaphor can do it if you are sensitive to lanolin (which I am NOT) and plain vaseline (100% petrolatum) never does it, so I have no idea why Cerave healing ointment does. It’s very VERY minor but something I have noticed when applying it all over my hands, it doesn’t do it if I just dab a small amount on an irritated area, only when I do my entire hands. It doesn’t cause a full reaction or ever get worse, but it does slightly do it. I’ll still use this product because I prefer the ingredients of ceramides and hyalauronic acid, which is not found in vaseline or aquaphor, and I like that it does not contain lanolin. However I do wonder exactly what turns the backs of my hands a little red. Again though, it’s not irritating or a big deal and if it stays this minor I will continue to use this on the backs of my hands a couple overnights a week with gloves. It might just be how occlusive it is and nonbreathable which is how it’s supposed to be, it’s just that 100% petrolatum does not do this. It’s a very moisturizing occlusive product that helps my skin barrier. Over time while wearing it under cotton skincare gloves, it does eventually absorb into my hands overnight.

This is a great product! It was recommended by my dermatologist, and I always use it when putting a bandage on any skin irritation. My dermatologist always recommends applying to any areas that have been treated by her when bandaging. It is similar in texture to Vaseline, but is more effective. It comes in a squeeze tube, so it’s less messy to use (I apply with an Q-tip). And it has no odor at all.

Love this product. I use this for packing in my travel bag to ensure my hands and feet stay moisturized. Word of advice - do not use a lot of using on hands for during the day usage. It is very greasy. Hand and feet stay moisturized for a few days. It absorbs in the skin well. Average value for your money.

This product helped my chapped face and lips overnight. Our winds are notorious for normal daily winds in 30 and 40 mph gusts being 60’s plus. No humidity and normal temperature temperatures 10’s and 20’s. This environment really does damage the skin exposed even sometimes in desperation you use Vaseline to protect your skin. That on its own doesn’t heal. My face and lips were so chapped and cracked ( try liking the cracks in both corners of your lips) I use such a small amount of the ointment for over night and the bleeding stopped and looked like they were actually healing. My opinion is that the petroleum is what keeps the ingredients in place and working. Doesn’t need a lot of it. Just a tiny bit on my lips and a pea sized one for my face. People complaining about the grease probably tried to use too much. Fragrance free of course for cerave products. Seems to also be working for how weird the skin color was because of the chapped skin. I’m going to put a little lip balm container full of this and keep and use it and take away the chapstick

I read a lot about this salve online before I purchase it and I was a bit skeptical because everyone seemed to rave about it but I have to agree with the consensus, it is great. You can basically put it on anything minor skin related and it soothes and heals. I have tried other balms but I like this one better because it seems very gentle but also powerful. Highly recommend!
