No worse for the pounding except for me! I’m glad I got them. Couldn’t imagine stringing that much rice or beans undies you are a restaurant. The lids slid but do not snap shut tightly if that’s one of your requirements. If you don’t need airtight sealed containers these could fit the bill. They did for me.
