No. "Made in CHINA" printed on the box. Also the stick "Made in CHINA" under the pan as well.

Can you put the platter lid in the oven as well?

Bought as a gift. Description said cover can be out in oven.

Can the lid be used for baking?

Yes the specs are -9 degrees to 500 degrees. Safe for the microwave, oven, freezer and broiler. Just an FYI: make sure that it’s COMPLETELY cooled BEFORE washing after use. They are notorious for cracking with sudden temperature changes, hot or cold. Otherwise an amazing product well worth the money
