caution - more than one type of Kensington lock - if newer and thin laptop, this may work 4u
Product was third lock I tried (I did not realize there are three types of Kensingtons for laptop - who knew?). Apparently, if newer laptop and 'thin' then look for Nano in name. A nano lock is supposed to be backward compatible to a micro Kensington, but micro is not compatible with nano. Setup was easy and I do like the number wheels rather than worrying about keeping up with a key.

More robust than K64444WW
My HP laptop works with either K64444WW or K60603WW. But, K64444WW broke after 10 months. The key won't work anymore. Back then, K64444WW was almost $50. I purchased K60603WW (this one) and the combination key seems more robust and it is cheaper, too.

Redesigned lock is super-cumbersome (especially for left-side lock port)
[Updated review] A month later, I'm dropping this rating to 2 stars. This new lock design is so super annoying that it actually inhibits the laptop's portability around the house - it's too often not worth the trouble of struggling with the lock. [SECOND updated review] Dropping further, to 1 star, because technically this item "works" but it is beyond annoying. Will continue to scour eBay or wherever to find the older model K63330WW, which worked like a charm. (KENSINGTON, please bring that model back.)[Original review] This is my second "nano" sized Kensington lock. It fits the smaller lock port on thinner laptops, so in that sense it works, but they've redesigned the lock itself and it's pretty annoying, especially if your lock port happens to be on the LEFT side of the laptop - in that case, in order for the cable to lie flat against your laptop, you have to rotate the lock so that the combination is facing downward. It's super cumbersome when you go to open the lock, as you have to rotate it upward while the cable drags around stiffly while at the same time lying so close to the lock that it's hard to rotate the dial (which itself is tiny and hard to rotate). The whole process of locking and unlocking requires much too much contortion, which was not the case with the prior version. Sorry if this description of the problem isn't entirely clear, but the Kensington designers have made this lock much WORSE with no improvement that I can detect.

Difficult to Use
Overall, I'm a fan of Kensington products, but I find this one cumbersome to use. Conceptually, the pivot and rotate cable head should be a great idea, but in practice it just gets in the way. The only way I can engage the lock is to move my laptop until the side with the nano slot overhangs the desk and then remove the closest cable to provide more room. If you're lacking space around your device's lock, good luck. Also, the numerical wheels are very narrow, to the point it is extremely difficult to change one number without changing adjoining numbers. I tried using a stylus, but that didn't work. I'm still looking for an adequate solution.

Nano Lock but NOT COMPATIBLE with HP ZBOOK (which is a nano slot)
The lock mechanism works as designed. When attempting to fit the lock into a HP ZBOOK, it initially appears to fit but does not fully open inside the laptop, resulting in being unable to scramble the code. From Kensington support (it took a while to get a helpful response) "We would like to inform you that Nano size lock K60603WW is not compatible with HP ZBOOK laptop."Item was returned and money was refunded.
