Decent bootleg of a Lego
ABOUT THE PRODUCT:This is a bootleg version of the original Lego 40433. The original Lego was a limited edition that came as a free set if you purchased the larger 1989 batmobile.BUILDING THE CAR:The manual is decent if you are familiar with Lego manuals. For someone new to building such models, there are cases where you may wonder where a particular part goes. Worse case, you can search for the original Lego manual online - Lego set 40433. Lego has an app which you can search it's manuals on.PRODUCT QUALITY:- The quality of the plastic parts are almost similar to Lego ones. Apart from the Lego logo on original Lego parts, if you kept a lego part besides this model's parts, you might not be able to tell the difference.- The rubber element on the tyres though seem to be peeling off a bit.PART FITTING:- You will find yourself pressing pretty hard on some parts to get them to fit on other parts. -- - Some parts are loose, like the 2 grey coloured intake (looks like a barrel) parts on either side as well as a big black cone at the rear besides the flame effect. The fall off regularly while playing.- I found out pretty late in the build that 1 part was faulty. It seemed to not come out of the mould correctly when the manufacturer made it. There are 5 others of the same part but no issue with them.- There are no missing parts.FEATURES AND PLAYABILITY:- Unlike the original Lego set, this comes with a Batman figure.- The stud shooter feature works just like the original. Press the button on the stud shooters (there are 2 in front of the wind shield) and it will shoot those grey studs. Be careful as those studs are small and can get lost but luckily the manufacturer gave some extras.- The flame effect rotates when the rear tyres move.PRICE:Although this is a bootleg, it came with a price tag of 2.3k INR. I think this will be a personal decision to buy or not at this price.FINAL SUMMARY:If you are a Batman fan, then you might like this one. Even if you are a Lego/model building fan, you can consider this to add to your collection.
