If you receive a shoe without the red flag it is the wrong version and you need to return the shoes and leave the SELLER a bad review.Long story. 3 Main types of Old Skool Vans:Old Skool: No flag, Regular mass market shoe, is a skate shoe, but is cheaper and not as durable as othersOld Skool Pro: This listing, red flag, enhanced durability outsole, more comfortable heel, popcush insole, renforced toe capSkate Old Skool: Checkered flag, replacement to the Old Skool Pro, enhanced durability but different than this listing, enhanced durability outsole that is shiny not matte like the old pros, ultracush insoles, leather heel grab (white in color).Again, versions that are not the actual old skool pro won't have the same features and your seller might be trying to pull the wool over your eyes because they look similar. For me, ordering shoes online is risky because I am so picky about fit. For most brands, including VANS, I usually wear a men's 11.5 shoe and prefer a wide model if available. These weren't available in wide so I just got the 11.5 and they fit and feel awesome. The first day they were a little tight in the width but by day 2 they stretched right out. These are true 11.5 size shoes...maybe even more like a 11.75 which is fine by me.These VANS also have a nice removable insole that provides good cushioning with a moderate arch and will be easy to replace when they get stanky. These VANS also had a black and a white set of laces included in the box.

Although, there were a lot of choices within the same brand, finally, I choose Van's pro ($ 90), these are my first pair of Vans and I don't know if the "PRO"ones would be different from the regular $ 40 dollar shoes...in any case I like my shoes....

I really like these shoes, fit well, if I had to repurchase again I probably just wouldn't because I think these will go out of style pretty quickly. Do yourself a favor and just get plain white shoes of some sort or like platform sneakers if you want to be stylish. I often get comments like "Yo do you skate". LOL just depends on your circle I guess and if these are in your style warehouse....

Bought from West Coast Boardshop seller. Arrived in a timely fashion, and got the product as advertised. I was somewhat skeptic as there are reviews stating that there are fakes out there, but this seller delivered the actual product and I got my pair of PRO Vans just as I wanted.Now about the product, these vans are more roomy than the Rowley Solos, and so far feel more comfortable too. They run true to size and the ultracush HD insole feels sooo good. 10/10 will definetively be buying more of these.

I got these for my husband to replace his last pair that were worn out. These are good quality comfy shoes. He wears these as his day to day casual shoes and they seem to hold up longer than his Nike or ASICS sneakers.

Awesome shoes. If you plan on wearing them a lot or you just want a more comfortable shoe this is the deluxe version. I've always been happy with Vans but these do have more cushioning. Classic Vans styling with an upgrade. I just got them so I can't comment on durability but I am expecting them to last as Vans do. Give these a try.
