Grandstream GXV 3370 HD

Took a little while to get all the setting right but once it was setup it a nice phone. May need some assistance if your not familiar with setting up VOIP providers.

I like gadgets so i bought a polycom and also this grandstream phone. I ended up connecting the polycom to google voice with the free number and then i installed google voice on the grand stream phone also so when a call comes in it rings on both. This is a nice phone and i am able to use is as a semi tablet. Some of the newer apps wont work but its ok. Made well also.

Das Telefon macht auf dem Schreibtisch allein schon optisch und auch von der Verarbeitung einen sehr guten Eindruck, und auch die Inbetriebnahme der Telefonfunktion klappte reibungslos und in wenigen Minuten. Voraussetzung ist allerdings, dass die Telefonanlage bzw. der Anschluss das SIP-Protokoll beherrscht und die nötigen Angaben zum SIP-Server, dem Outbound-Proxy, der SIP User-ID, der SIP Authentification-ID und dem SIP Authentifikation-Password vorhanden sind.Sehr schön ist auch, dass über eine grüne LED oben rechts am Gehäuse jederzeit erkennbar ist, dass das Telefon erreichbar ist, bei einer Netzwerkstörung blinkt diese rot. Es lassen sich parallel mehrere SIP-Konten mit unterschiedlichen Rufnummern auf dem Gerät einrichten.Ein sehr wichtiges Argument für den Kauf des Telefons war allerdings die Möglichkeit, über den Google Play Store Android-Apps nachinstallieren zu können. Die App von Hekatron für das hier im Haus eingesetzte Brandmeldesystem ließ sich dann auch problemlos installieren und in Betrieb nehmen, so dass auf diese Weise an gut erreichbarer Stelle im Haus eventuelle Störungen des Systems angezeigt werden und bei einem eventuellen Alarm der ursächliche Rauchmelder im Haus oder Nebengebäude sofort festgestellt und auch der Alarmton stummgeschaltet werden kann.Andere Apps lassen sich selbstverständlich auch installieren.Aus meiner Sicht kann ich das Grandstream GXV3370 IP-Videotelefon nur empfehlen.

This phone properly takes google voice calls when you upgrade to the latest firmware and install the necessary apps! Go to firmware.grandstream.com and download the latest firmware. Go the the phone's web interface, and upload the firmware to the phone. Install the Play Store app from the GS Market. Then, in the play store, install the Google app, and the Google Voice app.If you use a USB security key, it will work! So, you can use two-factor authentication. I haven't tested the Bluetooth security key.This version runs Android 7, has 2 GB RAM and 3 GB FLASH storage and a quad 1.3 GHz Arm processor. So, it's sort of a low-end Android tablet with a daylight-readable screen, a loud speaker and microphone, video camera, and handset. It has an HDMI output, which I haven't tested yet, so might work for conferencing with larger screens. It takes SD cards and USB sticks for additional storage. It has a 1/8 inch headphone jack that might work with headsets. It also has a modular connector for the other sort of headset. It has a network output to connect your desktop computer.
