This product smells terrible and not what I expect apricot to smell like! It made hair stink after like dirt! The other scents from this brand are pleasant so I was surprised. Amazon gave easy, fast refund which I appreciate. I emailed the Honest company to let them know what I thought and that I already had refund and wasnt seeking anything but to give HONEST feedback and I got an odd, arrogant, condescending reply. Rep said that this product smells like what actual fresh apricot seed or whatever smells like- Im thinking then if it smells like what they intended, Im not sure how it passed through a test panel! No apology or thanks for the feedback. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this product!

I noticed my children's hair was very dry and needed conditioner. I always try to use natural products on them so I love that this is all natural. I bought the Apricot Kiss, my son doesn't like lavender. It works really really well too! It's super rich and a little hard to rinse out but can be used as a leave in also so I don't worry about getting it all out. It makes the kids hair smooth and moisturized and shiny. BUT... It stinks!! Really smells terrible. Like botanicals but not in a nice way. I'm so sad because the matching shampoo smells amazing and then you follow it with this stinky conditioner. I use it as a leave in for myself, but the smell is bad enough that probably won't buy it again.

I am chemically sensitive and always looking for products that work without making me sick. I have used each of the conditioners in this line and Apricot Kiss, though the smell reminds me of a combination of dust & cigarette butts, works the best on my long, coarse, wavy hair. The other conditioners may have a pleasant scent, but that dissipates, as does this one, and I have a difficult time getting my hair brushed out with the others. With the Apricot Kiss my hair is very soft, easy to brush/comb and manageable. I get compliments regularly on how soft and shiny my hair is now. That somewhat odd, but faint smell other reviewers mention goes away completely when my hair dries.My daughter kept insisting I give it another chance because it is the only conditioner she can use that isn't full of chemicals and it actually works for her. Her hair is very fine and down to her waist and she has a TON of it. She likes this conditioner because it is a great conditioning detangler for her, too.Thanks, Honest Co!

I'm conflicted on my review of this specific product. I love the honest conditioner for how it makes hair feel, that being said, this fragrance smells a little too earthy for me. As in, it smells like dirt. As far as hypoallergenic goes, I have MCS and I can use this product but I still react to it. I am very much the exception and not the rule, I am hyper sensitive to everything and could be overloaded by other external toxins making this product the straw that breaks this camels back. Overall, I would say I do recommend Honest shampoo and conditioner but I would stick with the vanilla orange scent.

I guess I don't know what apricot kisses smell like. Doesn't sound like it would be all that bad. It does not smell like apricots.I purchased it because I use this brand in conditioner for my kids in a different scent. Now I know why it was so cheap. My daughters comment on the bad smell every time I use it on them. "Yuck!"

I just opened the top to smell when I received & oh my gosh not any bit of a fruit scent. It smells like a chemical & nothing else. I would like to compare when I go into a store because this seems unreal, I thought maybe it was from a private seller that swapped products inside bottle. I’m confused how this is being produced.

Trust the bad reviews about the smell... it is awful. I haven't been able to get past the odor to use it so I can't speak to how well it works as a conditioner. It was way more expensive than the other Honest conditioners which work well and smell great. You should pass on this one.

This is the best conditioner I’ve ever had. It smells so fresh and my hair has never been softer or shinier.I just wish you got more for less. I mean, it’s worth it considering how good my hair looks, but I go through a bottle in 5 washes! People with hair shorter than 2.5 feet will likely get a lot more washes.
