They worked great. Then I used them to keep the raccoons away from my plum tree and then my pear tree. I use them to keep the deer away from my wife's flower beds too but they only work at night and the solar battery only charges when there's adequate light reaching the solar panel. I wish there was a model I can use a AAA battery in for shady areas. Still, I've had no bears going after my fruit or my beehives while next door neighbors have seen lots of bear traffic and consequently bear damage.
