Seriously, this lip stain has saved me so much money, time, and effort. I used to wear lip liner every day because I felt like my lips were on the thinner side (especially when chapped), but I always hated how intense and overly precise lip liners looked. It felt like there was never a true in-between shade. It was always either brown or red. I eventually gave up on lip liner because touching it up constantly was annoying, and I was always losing my lip products. Then my mom showed me this lip stain, and I’ve never looked back. At first, I was like “eh, whatever” because there are so many gimmicky, all-the-same lip stains out right now. But she wanted me to try it since she has darker lips and was curious how it would show up on mine. So I tried it. AND SOMETIMES (perhaps more than sometimes) moms really know what they’re talking about. I have NEVER EVER gone back. I usually hate lip stains. They’re always some red, or berry TINT and I just wanted something natural with a hint of flush. Plus, most stains wear off in like an hour. But this one? I’ve repurchased it over and over again. For context, I love going out clubbing. I can apply this around 10 PM before heading out, and when I get home, it’s still on my lips. I usually leave it on my full lips for a minute, then “line” my lips with it like a lip liner for about five minutes. Sometimes I repeat that for more coverage. My go-to is the shade XOXO, but I’ve also tried Beautiful, Adore and Neon Rose. Those were super pigmented. XOXO is my favorite since it feels like my natural lip shade with a half a shade darker and more neutral in a sense to where it works like a contour. I feel like the shade “beautiful” was almost like XOXO but with a bit more “flushness” to it! A natural tone for sure but MORE coverage. Adore was similar in the way of a natural tone but a pink more on the pinkish side! && Neon Rose was a NEON pink and lasted so long I literally woke up the next morning and it was still there. I remember the first time I applied “Neon Rose” and I did it same way I did with XOXO, and the color lasted from the moment I finished my makeup (around 4am) to the moment before I went to bed to do my nighttime routine (6pm.) since then I know now if I want to use neon rose it needs to be like 5 seconds applied seriously. This product lets me go out without carrying a full makeup bag. No touch-ups, no worries about losing lip products at the club. Just throw it on before I leave, throw one lipgloss in my tiny purse and go. I took forever to write this review because every time I use it, I get so excited watching the magic happen that I forget to take a picture. Also, people complain about the peeling part, but who cares? I always just wipe it off. It’s not a big deal when the results are this good. You get so much bang for your buck, especially with bold shades. Yes, it can feel a little dry eventually, but even then it stays opaque and visible. And coming from someone who hates spending more than $5 on makeup or skincare, this is one of the very few exceptions I’ll make. It’s worth every penny. (Top picture is before applying the lip stain, and bottom picture is after applying and leaving the lip stain on for about 1 minute) I will never use another lip product again.

I cannot believe how long this color lasted. I have terrible luck with lip stains. They never adhere well or stay on long, especially my top lip. I left this on for about 10 minutes and the color was deeper and lasted forever. Although a friend of mine tried it for 2 minutes and it worked just as well for her. I also added chapstick over it and it didn’t come off, which I was worried about. I went out for hours, drinking, dancing, sweating and it looked great when I got home. I ate greasy pizza and it lasted through that. I cleaned off my face with makeup remover and soap and it still stayed on. It was softer in color by that time but still looked so pretty. It was still kind of on when I woke up in the morning. My friends already bought their own. Amazing product, I’m getting more colors.

I bought several, and am adding to this review as I take more pictures of my face. (I really hope all the photos upload in the correct order...) 1. Natural--no lip stains, makeup, lip balm, etc. 2. This one is Whimsical, and the color tone didn't work for me. It's really pretty, objectively I love the color, but it brings out all the underlying reds in my face and required me to wear a lot more makeup, and since a big draw of lip stains for me is that I can wear *less* makeup, I ended up returning this shade. However, it had really good, even coverage (except for the spot where you can see I bit my lip and there was extra pigment there), I love that I can apply chapstick over it, and lasted a very long time--when I applied it in the morning there was still a tint of it on my lips the next morning. It's unfortunate that it had to be on for ~5 hours before it was a shade that worked for my face, but if it works for your skin tone then go for it! 3. & 4. Crush. I LOVE this one. The coral is exactly what I wanted. The first is Crush freshly applied, the second is after 8 hours of wear and running a 5k. This one is definitely going to be a regular reorder for me! 5. is XOXO, and I really like this one, it is very natural look. It doesn't last as long as Whimsical or Crush for me, maybe because it is a lighter, more natural stain, it seems to wear off around mid-day if I put it on in the morning and I have to re-apply. But otherwise it's great. 6. Lastly, Divine. This one doesn't go on blue/purple, it goes on blood red. And I mean, vampire-went-on-a-binge blood red. When you wipe it off it leaves behind a nice berry color (half the photo is the blood red, the other half is what's left behind when I wiped it off). This one has the shortest duration of all of them, if I put it on in the morning I noticeably have to reapply it in the afternoon--really can't get away with just letting this one fade. It's pretty, but I won't be re purchasing this particular shade.

This caused something of a dilemma for me. I couldn’t figure out how to use it?? Came with no instructions—no website to visit. The videos on the reviews page and their YouTube video tutorials were pitiful. I finally found a makeup lady who reviewed it on YouTube. She talked all about prepping lips with lip scrubs, etc. but when she finally got to the stain wand she just layered it on, let it dry, and wiped it off with an old wet washcloth! It comes off very easily but definitely stains the wash cloth! You know how when you build an item from a kit and there are pieces left over?? That’s how I feel here. I like to the wand and the color very much! I’ve ordered another for when I run out. But there’s something left over from the kit! It’s a little spray thing called the activator. Well, I have no idea what to do with it and there’s no information, anywhere!! The result, though, (with just the color wand) is a beautiful bright pink color that actually looks pretty natural. It’s doesn’t get in my coffee cups, or my teeth… it’s not sticky or waxy. I really like it.

Color is gorgeous. Doesn’t last all day for me though. It’s subtle and not in your face. Very easy to use. The longer you keep it on the darker it gets. I don’t want it too dark, so I only keep it on for like 30-45 seconds before I wipe away the blue. Overall, very happy with this and I’ve been wearing it a lot.

I have very mixed feelings about this product. Previously the only lip tints I’ve tried are the glossy ones from k beauty brands and this was my first time trying a peel off style lip stain. I really wanted to find one that actually stains/lasts and I’ve seen this product all over TikTok. My skin tone is fair neutral/cool and I struggle with some pink shades looking to warm or orangey on me. I purchased the shade beautiful after doing some research and it’s a really pretty extremely natural looking/flushed shade. It does look a little warmer on my skin tone then it does in the product photos but it isn’t to warm or orangey and it’s a really pretty natural pink shade. The first thing I noticed was the scent, it doesn’t smell bad at all but has a surprisingly herbal/fresh type of scent? It also wasn’t as drying as I expected it to be and feels similar to applying a matte liquid lipstick. I did two layers of product the first time and left it on for a minute. I wiped it off with a damp cotton round and it came off very easily. The first round I noticed it definitely gave me a light flush or sheer tint of color but I wanted it a little more pigmented so I applied it a second time. After the second round it was definitely more pigmented but still had that sheer/natural finish look. I had tried it right before showering and after the shower and washing my face it held up really well and I didn’t notice any fading or smudging. However after eating lunch I did notice it had faded quite significantly, there was still a very very sheer tint of color left but it did feel like it had faded a lot unfortunately. (To be fair I did have pizza for lunch so maybe it being a more oily/greasy food caused it to break down more? It may hold up better against other foods.) application was pretty easy and after removing the blue part it feels very lightweight and like nothing on your lips. I do which it had a slightly better applicator though or more of a tapered/doe style instead of the small flat rectangle shape. For the price I was hoping for it to hold up better after meals and for it to last longer. I do want to try one of the colors in the more pigmented line (this shade was listed under their sheer tints) and see if those last or work a little better. I think overall it’s a good lip stain, it holds up decently and feels nice, it has a pleasant scent and the colors are pretty and I like how much of a shade variety they have. I think it is a little overpriced for what you get though. I would recommend buying them on sale.

I purchased this lip stain (xoxo) hoping to add some natural-looking color without worrying about transfer. The consistency is very thin and liquidy, which makes it a bit difficult to work with—especially when trying to outline the lips or build up a more even, saturated layer. It came with an activator spray, but once applied, it does help the stain set and start developing color. However, I’m not a fan of the spray mechanism—it doesn’t just apply to the lips and often gets on the surrounding skin, which feels wasteful and less precise. I think this is an area that could definitely be improved. There’s also a black swatch included to remove the stain, though I didn’t find it particularly useful since it can be easily wiped off with tissue or water. One downside for me was the sensation after use. I noticed a tingling or “zinging” feeling on my lips, which I didn’t find comfortable. As for value, I felt the price was a bit high for the overall performance. It works, but it didn’t really impress me, and I think it would be more reasonably priced in the $10 range.

This product is amazing. I love a natural look and find keeping a colour on my lips hard...more of a gloss person. I was considering lip blushing, but not since I've discovered this! The product stays on for most of the day, and if you were going out later maybe another application would be good. This does not peel off at all so not sure what that is all about, but who cares! I use a wet qtip and sort of roll it on my lip to get the stain off. It says leave on for 1 min, but start with less time to see how you like the depth of the color. I also add a thin amout depending on the look I want. I'm not sure of some of the other reviews with regard to longevity, and how the product actually feels...I think if your lips are healthy and not chapped or cracking, there is no way this product doesn't work. I have only tried the one colour- whimsical, but will be getting more. I also use a cloth to wipe my lips before hand and do lip scrubs and masks at night as I hate chapped lips. This I'm sure helps with the overall application and look🤗 Also of course you're going to put a gloss on to finish off the look as this is literally just a stain.

I have already tried another color from this same brand. I think that the lip masque is a brilliant idea that eliminates the need of retouching the color over and over This color (Crush) has an orange tint and looks beautiful. The application was easy if the instructions are followed It is very important, I would even say it is a “must” to exfoliate before applying the tint since the color attaches very well to the cracks on the surface of the lips I have not found this information on the product page or on the product and it only mentions that for the full instructions one must visit the brand’s website. The color stays for several hours and from time to time I just apply transparent gloss or oil. It definitely works as expected and better

Love this product! It’s so easy to use and creates the perfect nude-brown lip look for everyday wear. It lasts all day and only fades slightly by the end. I did notice that when my lips were dry or cracked, it could emphasize those areas a bit and create some visible lines. No product is perfect, but this one is still amazing despite that small drawback.

This item arrived in a sealed, branded box. I'm of an age when every lipstick is no longer suitable for me. Lipstick that lasts can look too heavy, especially on older lips that aren't as plump as they used to be. This isn't like your normal lipstick, for starters it has a purple/bluish appearance. It looks like a lip gloss with a sponge applicator. You put it on and then after roughly a minute, when it's dried, you wipe it off with a damp cloth. The pictures show how looks from the the application, to over an hour and a drink later, then a few hours later after eating and drinking. It lasts longer than your normal lipstick and doesn't leave lipstick marks on cups and glasses, and there's no risk of getting lipstick on your teeth, which isn't a good look for anyone. I don't wear a lot of makeup, I prefer a subtle look rather than a heavy face of makeup and this product suits that look, it's enough to add a natural colour to my lips and it lasts. I don't purchase expensive makeup, I'm not sure if i would pay the price they are asking for this product without a recommendation, yes it's a pack of 2 but it's expensive for something that may or may not work. Now that I know how well it performs i would pay the asking price but, it doesn't tell you how many applications you can get from it and that will play a big part in whether or not I buy anymore. I'm going to use this once everyday and see how many applications I can get out of it then I will return and amend this review.

So the longevity of this stain really depends on how long you leave it on. If you follow the minimum time as instructed by the label, your stain will only last a few hours and not be very saturated. Regarding the color: definitely check the chart with all the different color models- look at the one that's closest to you to determine how the color will look on your lips. Don't look at the swatch colors, they're misleading. The longer you leave it on, the darker the color. Get the activator because sure you can remove it by rubbing it off, but you're also rubbing your lips raw and it's messy, takes time. You remove it when your lips are wet with the activator. The taste of the stain/masque is really nice with a cooling serum feel. The activator doesn't taste the best but it isn't nasty. Also try to close your mouth so it doesn't go in.
