Just what I wanted
Containers are bigger than expected so I think they’re a great value price specially being a two pack. Can’t wait to make my first batch of kimchi. Also containers are lead free, bpa free and dehp free plus they seem really hardy and well made. Both the inner and outside lid have a tight seal. Would buy again 😊

Works great
I used this for one batch of kimchi and it tasted great! I haven't made another batch since though, because my fridge is small, and has inaccurate temperature control. My kimchi froze! I had to thaw it out and put it in a different section of the fridge and continue to ferment it. It tasted great still but the texture didn't recover 100%, maybe like 80%. My advice is 2 heads of Napa cabbage per box this size. I only did one since it was my first batch of kimchi ever. Works well too keep salad fresh too.

Worked great.
Much easier than mason jars. They fit more than expected. I bought four heads of Napa cabbage approx. 4lbs each. After salting, draining, and combining the porridge I was able to fit everything into these two 1.3 gallon containers. I weighed each container after filling and they were 10lbs each. If you subtract 1lb for the weight of container, I ended up with 18lbs of kimchi with a small bit of room to spare. At first I didn't believe even half of the kimchi would fit, but was pleasantly surprised to be wrong. These worked great.
