iSmooth Google Nexus 4 Screen Protector - Retail Packaging - Clear

After my 2 yr old peeled my previous screen protector off I needed to quickly order a new one. I have used several different brands on many different devices in the past however I still wanted to quickly research other screen protectors. I came across the iSmooth mentioned in one forum and decided to give it a try due to its price, availability, shipping speed (amazon prime) and other reviews. I am glad I did.I have installed both wet and dry screen protectors. This was super quick and easy. The added dust removal sticker was great and did help with a couple bubbles I had. I do wish it was just a touch longer. I am using it with a case and the width is great for my case.I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that I have a sort of bubble at the bottom edge of my ear piece speaker. No matter what I did I could not get it to go away. I do foresee that my screen protector will eventually start peeling up from that specific location but at that time I can just install another one of the screen protectors that were included. The feel is nice and smooth. My fingers slide smoothly on the phone without a rubber feeling. I have also attempted to scratch the screen protector with my nails and keys to see if it will be one that will soon be clouded with scratches. To my surprise it actually seems like it is tough and will stand up to my use (in my bag with keys, pens, coins etc..). So for $10 I feel I got an excellent deal for everything that was included. I would definitely recommend this product as a quick and easy to install screen protector.

First and one of the most important things in my opinion ,The installation was super easy and smooth and No bubbles ;was able to do it right on my office . The screen protector is very clear and it doesn't affect the touch sensitivity at all . Only reason i dont give full 5 stars is because it could be a tiny bit larger to cover more into the sides maybe 1.5 mm larger ,theres a little space on the sides that is left without protection , certain areas at the edge can still get scratch lets say if i had the phone in my pocket along my car keys . But overall im pleased with it ,wish it would had included a back protector as well for the price.

I looked for a while before deciding on this screen protector. I'm a bit of a hazard when it comes to phones. My nexus 4 has had it's screen replaced and touchscreen done too. After this rather spendy repair, I decided it was time for some good protection.This screen protector is top notch. I live in New Mexico, and if you know anything about this state, you should know it's dusty, so it was tricky to find a time when I could give it a try. The protector is easy to apply and I managed to align it correctly on the first try, but just for grins I took it off again to see how it would have stuck if I had made a mistake. It stuck back like nothing had happened.As with any screen protector, there is sometimes a noticeable change in touch response. Swype-style keyboards sometimes do weird things, but it does eventually settle down. The micro-fiber cleaning cloth this item comes with is actually pretty good. Much better than the ones that all too often come with phone screen items. This one I actually will keep.I did not use the dust stickers to clean the screen, I just used a damp cloth and then dried it. Beware doing what the instructions suggest of applying this protector in a bathroom after someone has taken a hot shower. If there is too much steam you will get water under it and that pretty much rendered it useless....so use a little common sense if you're gonna do that method and give it a few mins for the condensation to go down.Overall, this is a quality screen protector and the three I bought in this pack will last me until I'm done with this device.

hellogood thing about this is that its easy to be installed and no bubblesbut its really bad and i don't recommend it for 3 reasons1) each time I use it, it get fingerprints all over the screen (unlike other screen protectors i used before)2) doesn't cover the entire screen of my Nexus 4, still 1.5 inch below not protected and about 1 inch from the sides ( right & left)3) easy to be scratched, 2 days and already there are some scratches on the protector. whats the point of getting a protector if it will be scratched so quickly?

Good feel, relatively easy installation, excellent instructions.I easily installed it without using either of the two spares. I had to peel up and reposition it once, and this did not result in any problems. The protector installed is nicely transparent. The feel is about as good as plastic can be. It's not glass, but it's pretty close. At first it was sticky, but that turned out to be a thin layer of adhesive left over from the outer layer of film, which wore off in about a day. (I suppose it would have come off quicker if I'd actually cleaned it off.)The edge of the film is visible, as it does not cover the curved edges of the screen. When swiping in from the right or left side of the screen, this provides a rough edge. I got used to it, but it does mar the experience slightly. The case on my phone hides the effect, because the *case* instead gets in the way when I swipe in from the edges. So you'll probably only notice if you have a very slimline case (or no case, if you are very brave).The included screen cleaning cloth is excellent.This is the first time I've installed a screen protector without any dust on the first try, possibly because of the included screen cleaning cloth, so I didn't have a chance to test the dust removal tape.I forget it's there. It's a good protector.[updated]After two months, I still love it. It feels like glass and seems to be resisting scratches quite well!
