Lasted Three Weeks
Broke 2 Days ago. A week ago the pin on the hinge came out and put it back in. That didn't last long, the the hinge broke completely. In my opinion, not worth it.

The small plastic rod holding the 2 pieces together keeps falling out making it fall apart. Very hard to find that thing when it falls in your car.

Very handy, but could be a little more streamlined.
How many times have you left your sunglasses in a rental car? If you're absent-minded like me, the answer is, "All the times." Those convenient little eyewear compartments on the dashboard or interior roof are a trap!! I go car camping a lot, and have to rent suitable vehicles every time, and I always forget my sunglasses, no matter how much I kick myself to remember. If I can't see it in front of me, it doesn't exist in my mind.....so I needed a way to keep my sunglasses out of the way, but still in plain view. This is the answer---and it's satisfyingly low-tech!The clip is simple: it's a plastic clamshell with a foam-padded interior that sandwiches the arms of your sunglasses, then slides onto your visor just like a garage door opener would. The plastic is a little flimsy, so it won't last forever, but it's good enough. It's actually in the shape of a little bug with a grumpy face, which is a cute surprise. (See photos.)The only drawback is that the plastic shell is awkward. The blue portion has to thread through the space between the folded arms of your sunglasses and the bridge of your sunglasses, where the nose pads are. If you have thin wireframe glasses that fold very flat (compared to thicker polycarbonate frames with a lot of curvature) it's difficult to get the plastic shell through that narrow space. It's a lot easier if your glasses have wide gap between the folded arms and the nose pads of the bridge. I wish the shell was slimmer so it could more easily accommodate different types of sunglasses. But apart from that--it's still a problem-solver from my perspective---so it deserves 4 stars.---Promotional sample provided for the purpose of candid and objective review.---

Unfortunately, the sun visors in my car are too thick and smooth to hold this clip (2007 Toyota Yaris) so it slips right off. I ended up attaching it to the handle above the door, which I don't use anyways so it is no big deal for me. The plastic is a bit soft and doesn't feel very sturdy, so I am hoping it is just made to be this way, like my sunglasses which bend to avoid snapping and breaking, we will see how it holds up. For now it is doing it's job and keeping my glasses from sliding off the dash onto the floor and getting stepped on or lost.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
