This item is very useful....
I love it for my crafts, diy, projects, the picture was a rectangular reusable baking sheets, but I need it some liners for my new bamboo steamer, and with no time to order for size 12", y decide to cut it my self. Works perfectly...

Great for cutting rubber
I had to cut some thick rubber to make a gasket and this compass worked great. It cut the circles perfectly and the ruler on the compass was very accurate. It also comes with 2 extra blades that are in a hidden compartment on the compass. You won't know that they're there unless you look hard. There's a black piece that you're supposed to hold while you spin the compass but it blocks the blade from cutting circles smaller than 4cm but that black piece can be taken off if you need to cut circles smaller than 4cm just like I had to do.

Cuts accurately if used correctly
Just used this for the first time. It seems to cut well, and accurately… You can see in the lower right that I moved the pivot point a little bit as I was making a circle, so a tiny bit off. I think the pivot point needs some thing a little more dance to stay centered, like stiff cardboard or a piece of rubber mat. I will update again if the blade loses its sharpness quickly.

Great little craft gadget
Great craft gadget. Love the way it is small enough for your hands to handle and easy enough to make a whole where needed .

Doesn't work for the purpose I wanted it for.
This works beautifully on lightweight cotton fabric and on paper. I wanted it for cutting circles on denim and it did not work at all. I had to use a scissor. That doesn't sound like a big deal, except that I need to cut several hundred denim circles. That is really hard on the hand with a scissor. I was hoping to cut them faster with this.

Works well for the money
This cutter works pretty well for the money. I've only tried it on 20 lb. copy paper. There really are no instructions. One thing I discovered is you may have to move the first adjustable part with the knob that you hold onto close to the adjustable point to make it easier to move. You may have to hold onto the paper with the other hand so that it doesn't buckle. Also, the compartment with the extra blades is a bit difficult to open. There is an arrow that makes you think you need to slide it open, but I needed to use a knife to snap the cover up and open. All in all, for $7 it works pretty well.

Flimsy Spiral Maker
Tried to use this product to make some bases for warhammer. Ended up making a bunch of spirals instead of circles. Also feels very cheap and likely to break. Qualities not good when we're talking about sharp objects.

Works for gasket making.
Occasionally, I need to make gaskets for machines I'm building or repairing. Industrial gasket cutters are over a hundred dollars and I wasn't willing to spend that for occasional use. I'm using this on material 1/8" and thinner. For the price of this cutter, I didn't have much to lose. I gave it a try and was happy to find it did pretty good. I did have to go easy with it, since it is made of plastic. If you're careful with it and don't abuse it, it should last a long time. Plus. it comes with extra blades. If I ever break it, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
