The definitive review--80 kilograms = 180 pounds
The 80 pound limit that so many reviewers mention is solved here. This was made in China where they use the metric system. The bolts tighten with a 14mm wrench. The weight limit should be 80 KILOGRAMS, not pounds. 80 kilos is equal to about 180 POUNDS, thus this is not unreasonable, as the set is lightweight. I weigh about 90 kilos, which equals about 200 pounds. It took me an hour and a half to put it together with the enclosed bolts. The instructions were clear enough, though a couple of photos would have helped. After you catch on to the technique (screwing a double ended bolt in and then sliding tabs over it and then adding washers and a nut), it is simple to see how it goes together. I used a regular wrench instead of the flimsy one included. DO NOT use a power driver on this, as you will over tighten and possibly snap off the bolts. The reason the instructions say not to tighten the bolts at first is because with the table, there is a round brace that goes midway up the legs and all the parts must coincide before tightening. On the chairs, the back fits over two bolts, but the clearance is narrow, and if you tighten the legs first, the back won't go on. This is just for the two legs adjacent to the back. It all went together reasonably well, with no mismatches, and plenty of bolts and washers. If you look at the picture on the box and then at the bolts and holes, you can pretty much figure it out. Don't overtighten as the bolts are iron and the table aluminum. The finish is outstanding, a natural looking bronze with highlights and the design is intricate and delicate yet cast in metal, modifying that "too cute" look. It is sturdy enough for a 200 pound man and comfortable enough for short periods of time. I put round 15" cushions on the seat bottoms and they fit perfectly, making the seat much more "sit-able." It's best not to lean back too heavily. This is not a set for slouching and it's not a set for kids, though it may look like a "doll set." It needs more careful, if not delicate, sitting. I wouldn't stand on the seat, for instance. When you sit, not all your weight is on your bottom. At 200 pounds, probably 150 pounds rests on the seat, so I'm still within the suggested weight of 80 kilos, and it doesn't appear shaky or in any danger of collapsing. It's not for rowdy guests or rambunctious kids or those seriously overweight, but it looks good, is functional and costs only $100. What more could you ask for?

Beautiful Table That Fits Plus Sizes Despite Being Small...
This bistro set has been set up on my front porch uncovered since it arrived in the beginning of November (2017). After 3 months of a Wisconsin winter, it looks exactly the same as it did when I first put it together. On that note, it was incredibly easy for my husband and I to put together and fairly sturdy once set up. My husband is tall (6'1") and about 200 pounds; I'm 5'7 and a 2X-3X. I was worried this table would be too small for us when I saw it in the box, but I am pleasantly surprised with how well it handles all shapes and sizes. I do intend to get some cushions for the chairs, but even without padding, it's not uncomfortable to sit on. Perfect to sit on and have our morning tea, but large enough for two people to have a meal on. I'd highly recommend this if you're looking for a small, sturdy outdoor table that is incredibly beautiful.

Holes not drilled in the right place.
Beautiful set. And for the price; good deal. But one of the chairs, the holes didn't align with the back rest. Had to redrill. Doesn't say much for the craftsmanship.

Would Not Purchase
I would not buy this table as it does not stay together. The instruction state to not over tighten screws when put together. I must have done that on one of the legs, after two days of use the screws feel out and appeared to be stripped. However, the other day I was sitting on the one chair we had left and another bolt feel out. You could tell that by the corroding around the bolt that it worked it's way out. I had to replace that bolt. When I tried to work with the vendor who was not very responsive. When they did respond it would be with wrong info or ask a question that I had previously submitted. I contacted Amazon who backed up the product, sending out a replacement. We had to take the leg and bolts out of it and shipper came back to pick it up. Fingers crossed that this will get us through at least the rest of this season. Too bad I love the design.

So far so good
It arrived early. It arrived undamaged. Legs are made of cast iron and very sturdy. All other pieces are cast aluminum, a bit lightweight. It's a tiny set. This isn't 1960's quality furniture but I knew that buying this reasonable priced set. Seats are small but usable by 2 large adults, with cushions. It took about 15 minutes with 2 people putting it together. Instructions were good thou bolts etc were not marked in bags but separated for each piece. A little confusing but figured that out quite quickly. You need a real wrench and the Allen wrench (that was provided by seller, the wrench they provided was not useful to me) to tighten properly. I really like the size, takes up very little space, in my apartments tiny yard.

The set assembled easily and the instructions were good. It looks great on our small deck. We added a small 6' beach umbrella and stand and some circular outdoor cushions for the chairs. Very pleased with this little gem. Perfect for enjoying a glass of wine for two in the evening.
