Good manufacturing and material quality at that pruce. However, this particular model requires a flat top water boiler lid, like Prestige type but not Hawkins type of pressure cooker. Learnt that, such a separate bottom water boiler is available.

the unit does not fit to prestige cooker top . there is steam leak even after we put white cloth around the unit. we brought the issue to the seller. but they were casual on our complaint. to solve the problem, the unit needs bottom vessel. top alone one should not bought

This puttu maker doesn't sit firmly on top of most of the cookers. The reason is that most cookers doesn't have a flat top base for this puttu maker to stand firmly. As a result you have to keep holding it while it is steaming, otherwise it would tilt badly onto one side & steam would not come up properly. Its better to buy it with the steamer below that is especially made for that purpose only so you can do other chores in kitchen while it is steaming rather than wasting time by holding it straight all the time.
