But if you want it to last for years - this is not the brush. I don't know if it's the open sided design; but I'm on my third one - because after a while it 'snaps' in half. In my case they've lasted as long as18 months or as little 8/9 months. The three I've had have all been the same brand - so next time I might try a different brand as there do seem to now be similar Brushes out there.
