Awesome pipes with a nice growl
Added the slash cut exhaust pipes to my 86 Honda shadow vt500 and they fit perfect i just had to cut off one bolt thats by the brake lever but that is okay because it has three bolts.so I had another set of 4 inch baffles and took them off and these pipes sound so good i didnt need to rejet at all and it has the perfect amount of back pressure. The crome is so shiny and they dont scratch easy like others has stated it is made of a great crome the crome on the brackets are really thick nothing on these pipes are cheap I dont understand how they make money on the pipes because these are so well made other pipes like these cost over $100 each..I have gotten so many compliments for the.sound and the looks.. at this price I'm going to buy another set just to have for another bike when it's time. Dont listen to any bad reviews they're perfect and have a nice growl to them there not that loud where I cant here my music in my helmet and when I'm calling someone I can still hear them.now the sound is noticeable dont take me wrong but they sound so good your going to love them also the adapter from 1.75 to 1 1/2 worked perfect. On the page where you buy these pipes they have some clamps as a suggested clamps they work perfect with these pipes..

Kind of loud, but easily tuned.
The media could not be loaded. The fiberglass was gone within a few minutes. Took a you tubers advice and left it out, and packed the center with stainless steel wool, pot scrubbers from the local hardware store. Sounds great, did not require jetting, though I had already jetted after putting in high flow air filter. Got them installed on a 94 VF750, which was not a simple bolt on, but well worth the effort. Far better than spending $600.00 on the only aftermarket bolt on available for that model. Will require some mechanical aptitude and ingenuity to install on the Magna, but well worth it. Would definitely buy again!

Easy Install, More Blapblapblap.
Installed on a 2016 Scout 60. Had to trim the baffles approximately 1 cm. I installed the brackets but saw a you tube video where the brackets were not installed. It's a short length and they are solid without the brackets. I removed the baffles after a few rides and found the fiberglass was completely burned off. Ran the Scout without the baffles and went on 150 mile ride. I wear a full face helmet so the roar is tolerable. It is completely loud and obnoxious without the baffles and it doesn't run lean and didn't back fire once so am going without reprogramming. It sounds amazing. Best 26 I've ever spent. I rarely write reviews, but wanted to share if any Indian Scout owner is considering after market. I've seen upwards of $300 for the same pipes. Mine have not blued and even if they do, I can purchase these many times over for the price some manufacturers charge for after market pipes.

Scratches easy and fiberglass spews out
Works ok, comes with no hardware to tighten it up also was bigger than stated. Using adapters from advance Auto parts and cutting them a little got it on. Chrome scratches easily No matter how careful you are with it. (As seen in picture)Really loud, I have a Yamaha tw200 and with the stock it's very quiet (only a 200cc) but throw this thing on becomes very loud like straight pipes. Another thing is the "baffle" on the inside is filled with fiber glass and just running it on idle made all of it come out in the air and on my bike. Basically straight pipes but looks better.

Perfect for Indian Scout
I replaced my stock scout mufflers with these. There is a significant weight reduction and now the bike is very loud and sounds really good. I would recommend buying 1.75" clamps as the stock clamps will not fit without some modification. I also used muffler sealant.I trimmed the forward part of the baffle as well, using an air driven cut off wheel, although a hacksaw would also work. The mufflers nicely match the overall style of the bike and are well constructed. These are a steal compared to some of the aftermarket pipes that are sold for this bike. Measured by my phone, these pipes are 78-80 db.8/13/17 UPDATEI changed to stainless steel wool packing- helps a lot and sounds nicer than the very meager packing that came with the muffler. Still like the sound- the bike sets of car alarms when it starts sometimes ... : )

Suzuki is much more savage now.
I had to do some kajiggering to get this fit and sealed onto my Suzuki S40, but it was well worth it. At a very low price, my scoot is obnoxious as heck. On the freeway it is a very low rumble, but if I kick up the rpm, this thing barks. It doesn't look bad, either. Very happy.

these feel sturdy. I was able to fit these on my ...
Decent value for what you pay, these feel sturdy. I was able to fit these on my Honda rebel 250 without any real difficulty, just make sure you get a tube of tailpipe sealer and a pair of appropriate clamps.Vary loud, be advised that using these is virtually the same as running open headers. You can see straight through the center of them, no baffles to speak of just perforation and packing around the outside. Lots of noisy crackling / popping when slowing downThe included reducer gets you down to 1.5", which means if you have a rebel like i do, you'll need another reducer to get down to 1 3/8". A cheap solution, couplers for chain link fence can be had at home depot or lowes for about $2, they're steel pipe with the correct ID and OD.
