Highly Recommend!
The media could not be loaded. My boyfriend and I tried this and had a wonderful time! The instructions were very clear, the materials were great quality, and everything was pretty easy. I think the hardest part was opening the container itself 😂We got it for valentines and just got around to doing it 2 months later and everything turned out great, the materials last well. The details are incredible, they look so much like our hands! Highly recommend, the piece itself is memorable and the experience is a great time for bonding!

Great product !
I don’t write Amazon reviews very often, but I was so happy with how this turned out that I decided I should! The directions are easy to follow and it comes with everything you need. I haven’t even put the clear sealant on it yet and it still looks awesome! This was a fun little craft to do and I can’t wait to gift it to my mom for Mother’s day. Definitely a great buy!

Excellent product, but somewhat hard to use.
The quality of this product is fantastic. I gave this a 4 instead of 5 star rating only because of difficulty to use. I'll start with quality first though. This product blew me away with how much detail it captured. Every little line in the skin was shown. I cannot find fault with its potential to create fantastic castings. However, I think it unlikely that an inexperienced person will be able to reach that full potential on the first try. The process is not extremely difficult itself, but there are little tricks that are needed to achieve a good casting. The instructions are quite good though and there are videos on YouTube that show how to do it, so if you follow those to the letter you should have success. Here are a few things I learned in the process:• Don’t use too warm of water. Our first attempt was a complete flop because the water was too warm and the mold solution set up almost instantly, before we even got it all mixed in. I think it recommends 70 degrees F. Just remember that 70 degrees in water feels much cooler than it does in air, so if you just judge by the feel of it, I recommend erring on the side of too cold rather than too warm.• Mix the molding solution well. On our second attempt, we were worried that the mold would set up very fast like it did the first time, so we quickly mixed it up and jammed our hands in leaving more clumps than we should have. We found that the cast sets up much slower with cold water, so our hurry was unnecessary. We should have taken our time to mix the solution better.• Go as deep as you can. We mistakenly raised our hands up further than intended after finding the bottom of the bucket and ended up with a shorter cast than we would have liked.• Fill the mold and bucket as full as you can with the casting rock. We only filled ours up to where we thought we wanted the casting to end, but it turns out that the water settles out of the casting solution and rises to the top, so the top ½ to ¾ inch of the cast is lost. I wish we would have overflowed the mold in order to get as much as possible. It’s not hard to cut some off once it’s done if you put in too much.• Really take care to get the casting rock into every little spot. There is a reason the video shows them adding casting rock and swirling the bucket around on its side several times to get the rock into every little crevice. Don’t skip this step, and also make sure you get all the air out. Every air bubble is a blemish on the end product. You can touch these up, but every touch up spot is a spot that doesn’t have the texture of your skin on it.• Be careful with wrings. My wring was situated so that there was a small gap between it and my finger. This allowed the mold to get into that gap so that the wring wouldn’t come out without tearing the mold a little. As a result, the wring looks pretty bad.• A third person would be helpful. We did it with just the two of us. It is doable with just two, but I think it would have been much easier to have a person preparing while my wife and I just had to worry about getting our hands in it.This is a really cool product, and I will probably do it again sometime. Good luck!
