The boxes have a rubber grommet, a compression fitting and a nut. Using a suitable cable, push the cable through the grommet and the nut and tighten it up, not too tight though or you may squash the grommet and allow water to enter. It's as simple as that. I have a few of these for my floodlights and they are neat and tidy and never let water in (I have the centre opening facing down just to be safe). **Q: Are the glands for the enclosure IP rated?** A: The clue is in the title. **Q: What size conduit can you use with these please?** A: Hi , the holes are for 20mm glands. Only drawback is if you want to use it as a 2 way then the third gland does not close fully. Also no screw fixing holes are prepared.
