Got this for our son for his Eagle Scout ceremony. Could have given it five stars but one of the words didn’t get engraved well so it looked misspelled. Either way, the motto was well intentioned and it meant something to my husband and I as well as our son. It will not save someone in the woods, but it’s cool nonetheless

This is a very nice compass. Seems to be well made of solid metal. I do however have one small issue with it. The inscription is not the same style as shown on the listing page. I ordered this item because it had the text without the BLACK bar. Yet I received one with the BLACK bar reverse text. Not a deal breaker, but something to note.

My son is a volunteer Firefighter n EMT and hard working n has a full time day job. Loves to fish on charter boats with his FF Bros for RnR and loved yo hunt and is adventurous. Loving and caring responsible adult who always is there to help others. Great Gift 💝 from Mom
