I purchased these lift support to replace the originals on a 2010 Ford Taurus Limited 4D Sedan. The lifts were a perfect match and very easy to install. I was very pleased with the packaging of the lift support. They were rapped in plastic to protect them from rain or snow. The labeling clearly indicated that they are front hood lift that fit 2010-2013 Ford Taurus. The quality and craftsmanship of lift looks very good for the price. Upon installation, the lift supports were able to support and lift the front hood with ease. The lifts give a strong support and can easily handle the weight of hood. I can say that my front hood is safely supported to access engine without concerns of dropping on my head. I strongly recommend checking this product. It is a good product and excellent price when compared to others.

Good product and easy to install....Initial raising of the hood was somewhat difficult since supports are new and tight.

These were half-price of what I could get them at the auto parts store before when I would pop my hood I would have to go up and pull on it so that I would be able to lift it. I just thought there was something wrong with my hood I replaced these when I put my hood my hood actually comes up and I just have to lift it up and it continues to go up and stays up and my hood isn’t exactly light. The reason I actually bought these was because my hood started crashing on my head when I was trying to install lights and I finally decided to get them. I’m glad I got these because I kept putting it off because of the price at the auto store.

Items are well made and appear to be of high quality. Installation was simple and quick. As with anything mechanical durability and long term functionality are to be determined. Note: In addition to rating/value they were chosen for one day delivery (needed repair), which ended up being three!

After having the hood about knock me out and totally piss me off. It’s great to have a safe place to be while under the hood once again.

I bought it for Ford Taurus 2013 and it fitted perfectly. It is working like original and installation was easy using only one flat head screwdriver.
