Stanley Adventure Stainless Steel Flask

This Stanley Adventure Stainless Steel flask has been an ideal choice for my purposes. The Hammertone Green color is attractive. On cold days outdoors I like to take some whiskey or schnapps with me and this flask is made of high quality stainless steel. The stainless steel does not affect the taste of the contents. The lid screws on and off and is attached to an plastic arm on the flask so that you will not lose or drop the lid. The hole in the flask is quite small (less than half ain inch in diameter) so you will need a funnel to fill the flask. If you are looking for something that is ultralight for backcountry camping you should look at a plastic bag-type flask instead as this one is not lightweight. However, this is the best choice for a budget level metal flask and is durable enough to take a beating, get thrown around inside a backpack, and serve as an outdoor adventure companion.

Bought this for my husband for a ski trip and was a little worried about leaks since that was a common complaint I came across as I read reviews on different products. I bought this one because it looked different than the standard silver flask and am so glad I did. My husband loved it! We had no problem with it leaking. The size was perfect for tucking into pockets. I bought a small funnel to help fill it and it was a good move.

I was looking for a rugged, reasonably priced flask for my backpack. I use a Stanley thermos and traveling mugs and this flask is the same high quality. I like the fact that the cap is attached and can’t be lost. This flask and my two 2 oz collapse stainless steel cups are perfect for a slopside apres ski aperitif with my ski partner.

This is a good product by Stanley. I bought it for two reasons, 1) there are times you need a flask (seriously) and 2) most flasks are made as novelty items. I've carried a few in the past and they always leak or are just huge. I think that 5oz is really the perfect size and this item get Stanley's quality, which is always top notch. I gave this 4 out of 5 stars mainly because of the lid. I think that the cap itself is nice, but the plastic on the arm is very low quality compared to the rest of the flask. Had this been a little better I would be happy to provide it a 5 star review. For the size, it fits well in a pocket, or a bag, and I have not had any leaks so far.

It is surprisingly hard to find a satisfactory flask. This one fits the bill. Stanley flasks use food-grade 18/8 steel, not some mystery metal that'll leach chemicals into your drink or rust on you. The cap is large enough to easily operate with gloves, and the plastic retainer works well. The size is generous but fits easily in just about any pocket. It's attractive and understated, light-weight, and feels sturdy. It'll fit right in at your campsite, music festival, or wherever. Used just a handful of times skiing but it has done a great job so far. It has also held up just fine in the freezer, which helps keep it clean and the liquor cold. I picked this one up over the "classic flask" by Stanley since that one seems to have some durability issues based on the comments. The main difference between them, besides slightly different construction, seems to be that this one has a narrow opening which means you'll probably want a funnel to fill it. Outstanding adventure flask- I now carry it with me every day. Many of my co-workers have commented how handsome it is. Work is hard... don't judge me. Looks a little less conspicuous than a standard chrome flask. Not vacuum sealed- but that's OK. Carry it in an interior pocket of my laptop bag, never worry about leaks or spills. Doesn't include a funnel- so can be a trick to fill with shaky hands.

This is a nice flask! It is well made and the size is perfect. I like the fact that the top is nicely secured so you won't loose it and it is easy to grip so you can make sure it's on tight. Immediately upon washing it, I tested it to make sure it would not leak and I can tell you I had no issues with it leaking. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase.

I like to have water with me wherever I go, but plastic bottles don't fit into my small, flat purse. This flask is so thin that it fits beautifully. 8 ounces is ample for me. The flask is very sturdy, and the lid doesn't leak when it turns over in my purse. The opening is small. Although it is easy to fill from the faucet (and there are little funnels available for purchase to make filling easy), some people may want a bigger opening for drinking, to get more water in each swallow; I think there are flasks from the same company that have bigger openings but are a little less slim. I highly recommend this product. One warning: wherever you go, people will give you a wink and slyly ask whatcha got in that flask.

It looks pretty cool and I loved the capacity. Perfect for road trips and easy to fit in anywhere.

Excelente "pachita" es de poco más de 5 onzas que de traduce en aproximadamente 150ml. En si cabe perfectamente en cualquier bolsa sin ocupar mucho espacio. Volumetricamente ocupa algo similar a un celular. La principal ventaja es que no de ve como una tradicional pachita por lo que no es tan evidente. Rellenar es un poco complicado si no de fuente con un embudo. En general esta bien construida y cuenta con garantía de por vida que ya por sola da buena impresión, en mi caso después de algunos usos ya muestra algunos pequeños rayones en la pintura, pero nada dramático. Algo que me dejó muy satisfecho es que no agrega olores o sabores a diferencia de otros de menor calidad que dejan un sabor y olor metálico a las bebidas.
