- CAT Box FX – 4 Female with Passive Analog Audio

I was looking for a way to send a couple of audio channels into another room and came across this unit (along with its male counterpart). I bought the male/female pair and some shielded CAT6 cable. My run is about 60 feet through conduit and it has been working fine so far. No noise, clean signal. I’m even sending phantom power over the setup to power a stereo condenser Rode NT4 mic. Build quality is great and totally passive. Just don’t forget that you need shielded cable with shielded RJ45 connector. This provides the needed 9th conductor.

No need to do long runs of XLR, just a nice simple Cat5, even for really short runs makes it nice and clean instead of a bunch of XLR's.

i have use it in several shows now no problem what so ever, luv it make my stage look a lot cleaner then B4

These guys make the best Cat to XLR conversion box I have used. Very simple and robust construction. :)

Great product! Much easier than rewiring an existing Cat6 cable to create XLR cables.

I like this product, worth the money

Great way to reduce cables on stage!
