It would have been great with word to word meaning from Sanskrit to English in addition to translation. However, it's not a problem for the process, Rama to come alive within & expand out in & through our Limited Life to Many...after all, that's History (wisdom) of Ancient One (one beyond senses), the way & the culturing envisioned by our Ancestors.

I've not begun to read Ramayanaji yet. I could just go through the first chapter cursorily. Of course, a fallen soul like me possesses no qualification to actually review the transcendental work by Srila Valmikiji that describes the pastimes of Lord Ram so I am not even going to try. However, I can only comment on the quality and it's superb. I am glad I could receive the package at an affordable price. However, packaging could have been better because the two huge books were packaged in a worn out polythene. Fortunately, no adverse harm was caused to the delivery in particular.

Loved the content and quality of the book. It's hard card board protected. The book is large in size so you will need a surface to place the book on to read it comfortably. Jai Shree Ram.

The greatest epic for every Hindu. Well bound, good quality pages, easy to read print size. Am blessed to possess these two volumes of Ramayana

I am happy that I bought these books, if someone wish to read ramayan they one must buy only Valmiki Ramayana and best publication is Gita Press, Gorakhpur. Seller did an amazing job to sell it at least price in a reasonable days. This one must be first Ramayan to read then one may try other Ramayanas.

Every person must read it once in a lifetime regardless of religion.
