I’ve had the FirstLaw Fitness Spider Mount 200 installed in my garage since January 2025, holding up a 130-lb Muay Thai bag, and I’m impressed with how well it delivers. Before getting this, every time I’d hit the bag the whole ceiling would rattle, and the people in the room right above could hear it loud and clear. Now with the Spider Mount, I barely cause any vibration or noise at all—it’s way more tolerable and the house feels more stable. The install wasn’t too bad. Took me a few hours to locate the joists properly and secure it in, but the instructions were decent and all the hardware included were the right spec. It mounts to open floor joists (or drywall over them) and the 360-degree spherical motion really helps absorb the energy from swings and kicks instead of transferring it up into the structure. After months of use, nothing’s come loose, no creaking or weird noises when swinging the bag wildly. If you’re thinking about a heavy bag setup and want something that doesn’t annoy everyone around you, this mount is a strong choice. It’s made in the USA, solidly built, and designed for bags in the 120-200 lb range. For people with bedrooms or living spaces above their garage (or thin ceilings), it’s especially worth the investment because the reduced noise alone makes a big difference.

This mount is amazing. Completely silent. I have it mounted on exposed floor joists without insulation and you can’t hear and noise upstairs. It is expensive but absolutely worth it.

I I stalled my 150lb heavy bag in the garage. There is a bedroom above it. When working out the entire bedroom vibrated and so do the kitchen which is not even adjacent to the garage. It was not useable at all. Then I came across the Spider mount. I was not sure about buying it due to the cost. The bracket I had up was $18 why would I pay over $200 for a bracket?? Why, because it really does work. It does exactly what it states it will do. Now when I workout there is a faint noise of gloves hitting the bag but absolutely zero noise and vibration from the mount or bag itself. When I say zero noise I really mean zero noise. I added a second spring grip but knowing how good the product is I didn’t need it. I just installed it because it was already paid for. It is solid construction. Quite heavy to mount on your own but I was able to do the job solo just needs a bit of planning. As you can see my joists were not the right size so I installed a couple of braces. Fits perfectly and sturdier than I thought it would be. It is pricey but when you actually see the product and realize just how well built it is it’s definitely worth the money. My advice if you’re on the fence is but it. Don’t worry about it you will be so pleased that you invested in it, and so will your family!!! I haven’t found any faults at all to write about. Comes with the bolts and washers that you need. Excellent bit of kit and a real game changer for me.

Awesome product. My bedroom is above my garage and anytime I would hit the bag before i got the spidermount everything upstairs would shake badddddd. I actually took my bag down because of it. Then I started looking around came across this mount. This pretty much eliminated all vibration and noise. 5 stars!!!

I own a small boxing gym. It’s basement level in a strip mall. I had the first flaw rolling i beam hangers. (Worked great) Unfortunately vibrations were to much for my upstairs neighbors. I had 3 of them so I was out $600. My student built me custom heavy duty bag racks to bolt into the floor. They work amazing, but my ceiling height is only 8ft, so by the time I had attached them to clips, springs, and swivels, to hang the bag, they set so low only kids really could get good head shots. I invented (so I thought) a way to hang my smaller aqua bags off bungee cords to stop vibrations, but no way could I hang a 150/200lbs bag like that. When I seen these spider mounts on here I was blown away. They were like my invention, but way more commercial. I read the reviews about how they were quit and minimize vibrations, but could they actually handle a commercial setting, bags getting blasted by all size and skill levels all day and night, 16 inches below a tattoo shop. The answer is ABSOLUTELY! I installed yesterday morning, had the heaviest hitters in the gym blast the bag, went upstairs and put my ear on the ground directly under the bag and hurd and felt nothing. Thx u guys so much for this invention, you have resparked life in my adult program. I ordered one more yesterday and plan on getting at least 4 more in the next couple months. (In my pic you can see my invention, the spider mount, the empty I beam hanger, and my custom bag rack)So easy to install on my own but if ur not super strong like me maybe want one other person hehe! The thing I said earlier that isn’t really talked about is how high up a bag will sit even on an 8ft ceiling. So pumped! And there made in The USA, so ya!

This mount is incredible! Installed directly to my 2x10 floor joist in basement and hung a 100lb bag. Zero shaking/vibrations. I am amazed at how quiet it is. Highly recommend if you need a quiet mount.

Fantastic mount. Easy to install and does an incredible job of disbursing the bag movement. Hung a Thai heavy bag and couldn’t be happier.

Got this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. Easy install in the basement and very sturdy. My husband is able to attach his kicking/punching bag and practice his karate moves without fear of the bag breaking or falling from the ceiling.

Great, works just as advertised. Solid and can resist even heavy kicks without vibration in ceiling.

Was on the fence about this product as it is expensive, but after reading all the great reviews I had to try it. Well i have to say I am super impressed, my last setup was terrible, I really thought I was going to do damage to my roof, put the spider 200 up with a 100lb bag and I have to say it's amazing, I beat the living crap out of this bag and the springs do all the work, this product is amazing, if you have a heavy bag and need the perfect hanger without a doubt this is it, yes it's expensive but now after using it, 100% worth every cent

Best heavy bag mount on the market, hands down. I have a 130 lb heavy bag mounted on this and no vibration transfers at all. Solid quality construction and design. Company was a dream to deal with. Very happy with this purchase.

Hello everyone. You get what you pay for, no noise, no vibration. I just added another piece of wood so: 1. It creates that extra buffer and 2. I can ensure I screw into the floor joists.

My son built a gym in our basement and his heavy bag used to shake the entire house. We live in a townhouse, and the neighbours on both sides were complaining. It was damaging the back wall, and causing things to fall off shelves. I couldn't use my living room when he was working out because the noise and shaking were so intense. I didn't know anything about proper gym setups, but I had to do something, so I started researching and found out about heavy bag mounts. I wanted to get the best mount I could for a reasonable price, and chose this one. I know it's a cliche to say this, but my only regret is not getting it sooner. I've never had to worry about noise or vibrations from the heavy bag again.
