I noticed the reviews that said the silicon gaskets don't fit, but, I told myself since my exact model is listed as a fit, then I'll be OK. Like other reviewers mentioned......it's too big. I have MODEL PPC772. I left my pressure cooker to build pressure for 40 minutes and came back to it to see it blowing steam all around the lid and leaking water all over the counter. I turned it off. Took the lid off and checked the ring. It was still too loose. For some odd reason I decided to take it off wash it again but put it back on and noticed it fit tighter. I put only water in my pressure cooker to see what would happen. Well, it built pressure and sealed. I think maybe because the way its packaged it may help to run it first time with just water. Let it get nice and hot. Then let it cool. It seemed to tighten up and all the bends in it from being wrapped up by a rubber band were all gone. It was a more rounded shape like it should have been. It is a definite noticeable upgrade in quality than what originally came with my cooker. I think if you notice yours seem to be a little loose when putting on, just leave it on and run the cooker with just water, letting the ring get nice and hot to reshape. Let it cool and then try cooking with it. It certainly made mine fit after I got it hot then cooled, then tried it again.

This replaced the lid seal on a Power Cooker Plus (the models sold at Sam's Club). (See photos) It has a different model number than what is show as fitting in the listing, but it does fit perfectly. The old seal lost pressure while cooking, so the water escaped, and it burned the meat I was cooking. I installed this seal, and tested with water, and it worked. So, I just cooked a batch of taco meat, and no leaks, it worked perfectly. And, I have a spare for future use.

We bought this to replace the original sealing ring which came with the unit. The original was still working but had become discolored and and was maintaining an odor from the item we cooked in the pressure cooker. So, we decided a new seal was in order. The seals came in and appeared that they should work so I discarded the original sealing ring. Upon first use of the pot with this new sealing ring, steam was coming out of the edge of the lid and the pot was obviously not sealing and working properly. I'm returning them and will be looking for a different manufacturer in hopes that will address the issue.
