This file cabinet was a little pricy, but well worth the price. I use it in my office at work. The lock works well on it, and the drawers slide easily in and out. It is sturdy and a great buy!

These were delivered already put together and in good shape. In my opinion, very sturdy, good quality cabinets.

These are good but they are the medium grade cabinets-above the quality of what office depot sells but not the quality we are used to from HON. We had HON in our office that were about 25-30 years old and these are not that quality

As many reviewers report for metal stacked file cabinets they have ordered, this one arrived with dents - one at the bottom of one side and two at the bottom of the other. Cardboard packing was intact so hard to say why it happened. The dents don't affect operation and aren't overly visible so we are keeping it. Drawers operate smoothly, fully extend, and click securely closed. The lock at the top works well to lock all four drawers. My husband likes the tall drawer sides to hold hanging files because files slide without obstruction, unlike cabinets with rails. There is a helpful adjustable bar at the back of each drawer to hold files in place. Drawer ID tab holders are flimsy and not well attached. Overall, good enough but not commercial grade.

I especially appreciate not having to deal with wire frames for hanging folders, the supports are built in and help better stabilize the folders when the drawers are opened and closed.
