Good for intermediate players wanting to find out about more conventions
A well-written book, though more suitable for intermediate/improving players than experienced players.I was hoping to find a definitive treatment of Ingberman over reverses, but the book only provided the simple scheme whereby 2NT is always the weak rebid (which is perhaps better known as Lebensohl). In the full version of Ingberman the weak rebid is the cheaper of the 4th suit and 2NT.

Der vorliegende Band beschäftigt sich intensiver mit Konventionen für Fortgeschrittene, und so ist nicht zu vermeiden, dass manche Konventionen nur noch für spezielle Zwecke zu benutzen sind. Das Buch ist aber ohne jeden Zweifel inhaltlich fundiert und (für die, die einfach nicht genug kriegen können) eine Inspiration, eigene Konventionen zu entwickeln.Noch eines: Dieses Buch ist fast ausschließlich für feste Partnerschaften sinnvoll, da bei Internetspielen sonst frustrierende Erlebnisse und lange Diskussionen fällig werden.
