EnclumePremier 3-Foot Oval Ceiling Pot Rack, Hammered Steel

I decided to purchase the Enclume premier 3 ft pot rack after several months of research ad nauseum. I considered the weight capacity, material, color, country of origin, and product reviews. I was hesitant to purchase this product because it is designed for "standard" 9 ft ceilings, and my kitchen ceiling is 8 ft. I called Enclume and they recommended their low profile ceiling pot rack. I have a large kitchen, a lot of cookware, and a 6 burner island cooktop over which I was planning to hang my pot rack, so I was hesistant to purchase one that was only 30" wide.The bottom line is this pot rack is amazing! It is well made in the USA (the low profile racks by Enclume are made in China). It's constructed of solid iron with an iron grid (not a flimsy metal or aluminum) and was very easy to assemble and install. I have an 11 pc and 8 pc cookware set hanging on it, an iron skillet and fry pan, as well as a grater and 2 spatulas. I have strainers on the grid, and the best news is that it wasn't too low despite hanging on an 8 ft ceiling! Remember that it is over an island- it would be too low if it was not.

I like how sturdy and strong this pot rack is. The hammered steel is a classic rustic look. Used a piece of angle iron to brace it above stove in vaulted ceiling beams. Enclume is one of the best makers of pot racks. Quality all the way.

Our Pot Rack was the first step in a gentle refurbishing of our kitchen. It is fabulous--sturdy, able to carry lots of weight, doesn't jiggle, handsome. We get constant compliments. We did opt for installing it in joists. My installing help was very dubious about the special anchors, and refused to risk it. We actually hand the rack directly from the two ceiling screws, so it is higher (we are very tall) and this has worked very well. Definitely order more hooks for hanging pots and utensils--we did, and used ours up right away!

I love it. It's sturdy and just the right size for my kitchen. In my opinion Enclume sells one of the best products on the market when it comes to Pot Racks. You pay a little more, but also get a nicer product!
