Amazing Water Clarity โ A Must-Have for Aquarium Owners!
I recently purchased the Aquatic Experts Aquarium Polishing Filter Pad for my aquarium, and I am incredibly impressed with its performance! This product has exceeded my expectations in improving the clarity of my tank water. Hereโs why Iโm giving it a 5-star review: 1. Exceptional Water Clarity: This filter pad is truly effective at polishing the water and removing fine particles. My aquarium water has never been clearer! After just a few days of use, I noticed a significant difference in the overall water quality โ itโs crystal clear, and I can now see my fish and decorations in stunning detail. 2. Easy to Use: The pad is simple to install in my filter, and it fits perfectly in the compartment. Itโs as easy as replacing any other filter media, but the results are far more noticeable. I love how hassle-free it is to achieve such a clean and polished aquarium. 3. Great for Reducing Cloudiness: If youโve ever struggled with cloudy water caused by fine debris or excess organics, this pad is a game-changer. It does an excellent job of trapping those tiny particles that regular filter media canโt catch, resulting in noticeably clearer water. My tank looks healthier, and my fish seem to be thriving. 4. Durable and Long-Lasting: Iโve been using this filter pad for a couple of weeks now, and itโs holding up really well. Itโs durable and doesnโt break down quickly like some other polishing pads Iโve tried in the past. I expect it to last quite a while, providing great value for money. 5. Compatible with Various Filters: The best part about this pad is its versatility. It works perfectly with my canister filter, but Iโm confident it would work just as well in other types of aquarium filters. Itโs designed to be flexible, so you can cut it to fit your specific filter model if needed. 6. Improves Overall Water Quality: Beyond just clarity, Iโve noticed that the water quality in my tank has improved in terms of overall health. It helps reduce fine debris, excess nutrients, and even minor debris buildup, making the tank healthier for my fish and plants. Final Thoughts: If youโre an aquarium owner who values pristine water quality, this Aquatic Experts Aquarium Polishing Filter Pad is an absolute must-have. Itโs easy to use, highly effective, and delivers fantastic results in a short amount of time. My aquarium has never looked better! ๐ง Highly recommend! Five stars for clear, clean, and healthy aquarium water!

Absolute must have for every aquarium - show quality super clear water. amazing. shocking results.
this stuff is amazing. hands down, the best filter media. originally i was torn between the 100 micron and the 50 micron...i decided on the 100. and i'm so glad! my tank is CRYSTAL CLEAR! just look at the side view from my photos. i love that this just comes in as a giant piece of fabric. i just made a template and cut it....it will last many many moons. i'm using it in a fluval spec V. originally i wanted to go with the original filter media by this company...the stuff they say to use with this filter felt to get the best result. i still may buy that...but really, i'll probably just use a little polyfill. i was using poly fill originally and it worked okay....it did not work like this. i expect to have to change this every week, maybe two weeks. it's been just three days and it is already turning colors...i probably wont attempt to rinse and reuse....i want to stay as close to this crystal clear water as possible. super impressed. i do think i have a little reduced flow rate from my pump because of this. i will most likely turn up the pump in my spec V. just haven't done that yet because i have a betta. i am also contemplating getting the 50 micron. we'll see. for now i am perfectly content with this. it is definitely more expensive than polyfill. but the result is incredible. and this product is going to last a long time...so glad i bought this. i mean, i honestly can not believe how sparkling clear my water is. this is the water quality i have longed for. before i thought i was just incapable of achieving perfectly clear water like so many people do. but now i am a fish keeping pro. Update: So i get about 1 week of usage out of these pads. but that is without having any additional mechanical filtration in front of the this pad...i am calling it filter felt. which i believe is another term for it. i am using this in a Fluval Spec V....it works amazing well in a fluval spec...just cut to size and placed in the rectangle filter block on top of the sponge. i cut it 1/2 inch longer and that works nicely. it's a snug fit so no water bypasses the filter felt. i was already anticipating having to change the filter felt pad today or tomorrow....when i got home today i noticed that closed off section that houses the pump for the Spec V had gone way done....about 4-5 inches from the display part of the tanks waterline. that to me is indication to change it....put in a new piece of filter felt pad and the water level immediately went back up. so yes, the longer these pads stay in the filter and accumulate more gunk, the harder it is on your water flow. i have raised the flow rate of the pump all the way up, full blast....this used to be a problem because i have a betta. however, with the filter felt pad and the pump on high it does not bother my betta. my tank remains crystal clear. everyone that comes over comments and says they have never seen a home aquarium as clear as mine....i truly do feel like a fish keeping pro with this filter felt. for me, it was the missing link in my filter. please, if you're on this fence about this product just buy it and see for yourself. you will be amazed. i am not affiliated with this company. i have never spoken to them. this review is 100% my experience of this product. i truly believe in this product.

Excellent Product
This filter media works great. I have a marineland penguin 150 HOB filter, and I cut a piece to match the size of the blue media on it. Because the back of this media is kinda 'sticky', it adheres right to the filter without needing support, and it fit right into the filter slot easily because of its thinness. My water was always pretty clear, but now it looks like the fish are literally hanging in mid-air. Good stuff!

Dear Amazon Friends. I been looking at cheap effective ways to get my fish pond clear . I watched alot of youtube about filters. And DIY filter. When i heard one guy speak of a " polishing pad" i went on amazon and ordered it . I went to the dollar store bought 4 bags of white stones and a collender.. I rinsed the stone. Rinsed the polishing pad as directed. Very important to follow the directions for this pad.. I then placed a pad on the bottom of the collender ( spagetti strainer) . .added my stone. .added a pad on top. Gritty side down. . . Stuck my pump hose in the rocks ..so it flowed over on other rocks to create a waterfall affect..Over night See pics above.. Thats the pollen that was in my pond. I tried everything to get that dan pollen out. Because its so fine .. Nothing would grab those pollen particals.. Then these...These pads grab even the finest particles and hold them there.. Hard water pressure cleaned these pads to almost new.. It was slightly stained but who cares.. I put them back to work. Within 4 hours my pads were filthy again.. Im so pleased. And i think im just gonna keep doing what im doing. My pond is about 70 gallons. .. With 4 goldfish... So not very big...If you have nasty anything in your pond. These pads are a must. You wont be dissapointed. You can cut them to your the size you need. Anybody that gave these a bad review must have done something wrong. These pads will grab anything small. From coffee grains..to table salt grain down to fine powdery pollen... This is also great for inside acquarims as well.. Just cut to adjust to the size you need...Tie it around filter...If i could give 10 stars i would. I seen youtube videos where this pad is wrapped around the filter for bigger ponds.also.... And works just as i have stated.. My reviews are my own personal experience. If this has helped you in anyway..please click below to let me and Amazon know.... Thanks and good luck with you pond or Acquarium.. UpDate.. Its been 2 months . these pads are still in great shape. Are still working and i couldnt be happier with them

The reviews are accurate, it works amazingly well.
My kidsโ rooms are flooded with sunlight and their planted fish tanks have an algae problem. I recently bought a mini algae magnet for wiping down the walls of the tank and then, bought this 100 micron cloth, thinking that if I wipe down the algae, I want to make sure the water in the tank is filtered very well. Well, the algae magnet worked and took care of the algae on the walls but, the surprise was, this 100 micron cloth filtered the water so well that the algae on the rocks and the glass pebbles all disappeared in a day without my having to remove and rinse them. I was loathe to disturb the plants in the tank to remove the algae on the rocks, it turns out with this added to the filter I didnโt have to. Donโt get me wrong, we use a sponge & ceramic media in the filter, do frequent partial water changes and check the nitrate levels. The water was healthy, clear and very clean, with no visible particles or specs floating around. *But* after adding this 100 micron cloth to the filter, itโs stepped up another level. There is a noticeable difference, itโs crystal clear. My husband, who doesnโt deal with the fish at all, even stopped and commented โWow, the tank is looking really great! What did you do?โ And the betta is zipping around the tank very happily. Important notes: 1. Cut to fit and rinse the cloth to remove any loose fuzz before using it. 2. I have it setup so first, the water goes thru the sponge, then the ceramic media and finally it all has to be strained through the 100 micron cloth before returning to the tank. The cloth weave is so tight, it will slow the return down and raise the level of water in the filter, so take note. 3. When you put it in the filter, *make sure the ROUGH side of the cloth is on the outside.* If the soft side is on the outside, it will spew little cotton particles into your tank. Trust me, I did it wrong at first.

good quality - specially treated on one side
The big difference between this and other brands is that Aquatic Experts treats one side of the filter pad to reduce the chance of strands of the filter media coming loose. For other brands, you will annoyingly see strands of the filter media in your fish tank from time to time. Because the texture of the treated/untreated side is different, its easy to place the filter pad in the correct "direction". This means that this filter pad will last longer and can be reused a few times. I cut extra pads for my filter. When its time to change, I put in the newly cut pads into the canister and rinse the dirty pads and then soak them in a bleach solution which releases the dirt. With sufficient pre-filtering with fine filter wool, the pad has no problems lasting for 1 month+ (not sure why some reviews say theirs lasted only 2 weeks - not enough pre-filtering?)

Disappointing
I used this filter material in the filter of my tropical freshwater aquarium. I had a problem with green water algae infestation and after 5 days of use it had not made any difference. I then added a flocculant to the water and within a day the suspended algae had gone. Its good quality material but over priced especially as it does not filter as efficiently as the manufacturer claims.

Crystal Clear
This Aquarium Polishing Filter Pad works perfectly. It is bit pricey.

Slapping a sticker on a bag doesn't means its suitable for aquariums
I really doubt this is for aquariums as one side of the pad has some type of coating which seems more typical on materials used for clothing and limits water flow between the material. It looks like someone bought to much of a clothing liner material and is now trying to flog it off as suitable for aquariums. It didn't really work as suggested so will stick with known manufacturers of aquarium products. I don't recommend this product.
