My radio was an Eton Microlink FR160 . Looking at reviews from previous buyers , it IS necessary to change the polarity of the wiring . Simple to do . Mark connector , then depress pin tab thru side of plastic connector , and gently remove wire and pin from connector . When both are out , reverse position of wires , then gently slide pin into connector until pin tab locks into place . **Q: Will this fit a c crane observer radio?** A: Spec on the battery: Type: Ni-MH Cell: 2/3 AA ( times 3) Voltage: 3.6 V Current rating: 800 mAh Battery Dimension: 1 3/4 in x 1 1/4 in x 9/16 in.
