World Wonders LED Flashlight Lantern Useful in Backyards, Camping, Outdoors, and in Emergencies Like Hurricanes, Light Shortages, and Floods

This little collapsible flashlight was quite fun for the grandkids. They loved the lantern mode and were in and out of the no window laundry room to "Test it out" Even the littlest one, who is 2 thought this was a great light. From an adult point of view. This light would be great to hang in a tent at night to light up the space before bed. It would also be great in lantern mode to put out by your campsite to signal where you are camped. The light in lantern mode is not overpoweringly bright and the flashlight mode gives you a nice 4-5 foot circle of light on the ground if you are of average height. I found that because I am a bit older that it did not put out quite enough light for my comfort. So I will put it back in the tent tote and use it for that. or for when the grandkids come over and want to play in the cupboard under the stairs.

This LED Light Lantern is perfect for my grandchildren! It's lightweight; small. easy to pack and carry. When it is closed and compact,it is bright to highlight where you are walking at night. When the lantern is expanded; it gives just enough brightness so that it is not too glaring when your are sitting around doing an activity. The fact that it is LED means it will last longer than other normal flashlights and not need battery changes as often! Safe for my grandson (5 years old) to handle with no sharp edges or difficulty opening and closing. Would absolutely recommend having a couple around the house; in the car and the tool shed! Not just for camping; this versatile lantern can be used anyplace, anytime by the whole family.

I purchased the LED Flashlight Lantern about 2 weeks ago and have used it almost daily since. The lantern is very lightweight and closes down to a very compact size and fits easily into a small pocket on a back pack or in a glove compartment. The LED light has 3 settings: bright, dim and a strobe mode. I was quite impressed with how bright the light was and the distance it was able to reach to illuminate things. It is light enough to allow a person to hang it from a tent without issue. My only suggestion to improve this lantern would be to have a magnet on the top to allow for other mounting options. This was a great deal and has been a great collection to our camping gear.

I love this thing, it fits in my pocket, is very lightweight, and casts more light than I would have expected. To expand just hold both black parts and rotate in opposite directions a little bit and the spring pushes it open instantly. To store just push the two black pieces together and rotate until it clicks. I use this so I'm visible at night when crossing streets.

Very handy flashlight. I keep it collapsed in a basket on the coffee table. Light output could be better, but as least it's useful for taking the dog out at night.

Broke an hour into using it. Coil popper right out of light. Was outside in woods and threw it away instead of returning.

My husband requested another one of these after buying one just like it to use for the many Boy Scout excursions they take over the course of the year. What's cool is that it's very lightweight but still casts good light, so this is perfect for taking on overnight hikes. The loop on top means that it can clip to the top hook of a tent with a caribeaner if you have one. The lightweight material surrounding the center when open is the only real drawback that I can find as it is pretty sturdy but could get damaged if you're not careful. Overall it's a great idea and we've already used it when our power went out. Definitely recommend!

This collapsible LED Flashlight Lantern is pretty awesome. I reminds me of the old collapsible camping cups. I got this firstly, for my son when he goes camping. He puts on his hiking boots and gears up. He has to be able to carry everything he needs on is buck fifteen frame. That's means that everything that can serve double duty and only what you need. "Gotta keep that load as light as possible, without sacrificing safety." He has collected some pretty cool stuff over the years. He likes this product for the shear fact that it barely weighs more than three AA batteries. HE takes quite a few batteries with him.He just took it on a four day trip last weekend. His first impression wasn't very positive of this until he came back. He really didn't expect it to be very bright or to last long. He didn't think it would be durable either. He came back he had to take us into the back yard and show us" just how bright this thing is"When it is collapsed it is a very bright beam. He said it was more than enough to light up the path, actually shines about twice as far as his head beams do. I can't express how bright and I doubt the pictures show very well (oh see the pictures). It isn't a wide beam so it will shine where you aim The flashers can be seen for several blocks. The lantern he said was somewhat concentrated too, but it lit up the campsite very nicely. He said he used it a lot more hours than what the promo states. In fact, he used it a lot because it was rainy and he didn't want to use his solar light up. He had taken more than enough batteries to change out at least three times and that is changing out other items. But he had the lantern on three nights and most of the days as he was in the tent or under the canopy a lot and he didn't have to change out the batteries even once. He used it both as a lantern and as a flashlight.He says this is light weight enough and versatile enough he wants to have several more before his next trip.This gets four stars instead of five for two reasons.There were no instructions not even on the box. andThe box stated AAA batteries when it fact it is AA (good thing we checked the lantern out a little ((daytime)) before he packed for his trip.Normally this would have lost a second star but the product it self is AMAZINGDisclaimer: This product was received at a reduced rate for full evaluation and my honest and unbiased opinion.Photos Forthcoming
