Kirk's Original Coco Castile Bar Soap Soothing Aloe Vera 4 Ounces (Pack of 2)

Been using this soap for about four years and over the past year I have noticed it takes forever to rinse off. When I first started using it for my babies, I was impressed with how CLEAN it rinsed off. Now, it takes a great deal of rinsing to get that clean feeling. I had to switch to another soap at the bathroom sink, as my kiddos kept rinsing and rinsing their hands, because they can't get the soap off! Has the formula changed?

I bought this soap because the ingredients were similar to Dr Bronner's unscented, but this may be the farthest thing from gentle. It has given me a lacey red rash all over my body and face. I am very sensitive to fragrance, so I bought the unscented version, but this soap is made with sodium cocoate, which is very harsh. I can immediately feel a sting on my skin, eyes, neck, underarms. I come out of the shower looking sunburned. I have also broken out on my face from this, it is the only thing I have changed, so I am quite certain it is what is breaking me out. Stick with Dr Bronner's, this is NO SUBSTITUTE!

Kirk's Original Coco Castile Bar Soap is an awesome product. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a "chemical free" product that works. It definitely does the job!!! Great scent and really works. We love it. It is the best soap I have ever used. Made of 100% pure coconut oil. Easy on the skin, and "paraben free." My husband uses it from "head to toe" and every where in between. He loves it better than shampoo even for his hair. It leaves it clean, soft and easy to manage, not to mention it has a clean fresh scent. An AWESOME PRODUCT. Kirk's makes an awesome, clean, healthy soap that you can trust that is why they have been around since 1839. That speaks "volumes," as they are obviously doing something right and the customers keep coming back and that is what keeps them in business. Your skin is your largest receptor and you must be vigilant about what kind of soap you use on your body. Soaps with chemicals can contribute to health issues. Many people do not realize that. Do your research. Kirk's products are "paraben and chemical free" therefore their products contribute to your overall health while keeping you clean from head to toe. We love it. AN AWESOME PRODUCT!!!

These particular bars are NOT for the sensitive type OR Male parts, YEOW 😳 rinse it quick down below, BUT best damn soap ever for getting the tough stuff off. As for sensitive individuals, get the Kirk's 32oz liquid soap with the pump that has Aloe. Now that's the best I think besides Dr. Bronners. Dr. B's is serious YEOW, No Aloe! I Have all 3 (bars, pump and Dr. Bs').3 levels of dirtiness and sensitivity in my home.

I usually buy Dr. Bronners, but decided to try a different brand. This soap made my skin burn. I am not sensitive to soaps. It seems it has not fully saponified or has not fully cured leaving a caustic ingredient in it. Thank God I used it on myself and not a child. Will NOT buy again and have discarded the bars into the trash as they are unusable.

I leave the shower feeling sticky and dry. My back started breaking out. It also burned my private areas the first time I used it which I couldn't wash away. It was so bad that I have stress about washing those regions with this soap again. I also used it on my face and I couldn't open my eyes afterwards because they burned from whatever the sticky coating is that won't wash away. Maybe I received a bad batch or it's just my skin type. Maybe there's a new and hip way to use soap that I'm oblivious to. But I won't buy again to find out

Great soap; lathers very well.i would recommend you "harden or age" the soap if you want to last longer by removing the bars entirely from the package before storing.takes about 2 weeks to "age"

Do not overpay on amazon.com though. Its cheaper on drugstore.com. I buy a lot from amazon, but kirk's soap and dr teals epson salt is much cheaper at drugstore.comI really love this soap and its all I use since I switched to it,,, no more dry skin after using dial/2000/others.

A very hard bar of soap, soap rinses super clean. I bought several bars to shred and mix with Borax, Washing Soda and Baking Soda to make my own natural laundry detergent without artificial smells. But it's also a good basic soap to use in the bath and shower as well.

overpriced product that depeleted all the mositure out of my sensitive skin, more than i could of imagined, i was shocked. thought it would be good because it's fragrance free but no way. one of the worst bar soaps i've ever tried unfortunately .
