I returned this product and ordered the wooden shoe stretcher by KIWI (stretching is usually needed for one shoe only) and the spray "shoe stretch". Used these on a canvas shoe. **Q: Can you use these if the top part of the shoe is too tight?u** A: Junk , the only place these fit is the garbage can **Q: wl this work on the straps of sandals that are too tight across the small toe?** A: It should, as long as you can wedge against both sides of the strap. Might not work with an angled strap. Also, I did not have much luck with non-leather shoes.
