My favorite ❤️
Where I live its hard to come by my favorite middle eastern sweets. This maamul is my favorite! What’s really nice is that they sell them in different sizes. My first pack was the bit sizes ones which are perfect to take to work. I usually have one with a cup of coffee. It sure is a treat.

Broken damaged cookies
All cookies were broken in pieces. More like pulverized. It was for a guft and wen they opened it , all cookies were broken.

These cookies crumble!
These butter cookies are tasty! The problem is the crumbling. As soon as you touch the cookie, it falls apart. The date filling is very good! I will not buy these cookies again.

The Good, the Bad the Ugly...
Pictures on Amazon and box itself are misleading. The Good: Each shortbread mamoul is properly and individually wrapped. The Bad: Shortbread is all flaky instead of hard and cookie-like so mamoul is down to crumbles when you unwrap it. The Ugly: The shortbread has a bad taste, which could have been disguised by the nice taste of the date but unfortunately the thin layer of date on each mamoul is insufficient and this cookie actually has a bad taste altogether!

Disappointing in a huge way
I was hoping these would be delicious but they arrived smashed and they were not good either. We love dates and were thinking they would be great. Not so.
