I thought this sparkling water was just okay. The flavor is different from most sparkling drinks I usually buy, and it took me a little time to get used to it. It has a unique taste that may be enjoyable for some people, but for me it was more of an acquired taste. I like that it is low calorie, low sugar, and made with simple ingredients. It also feels like a healthier drink option compared to many other flavored beverages. The carbonation was good, but the lychee tropical berry flavor was not my favorite. Overall, it is not bad, just not something I would reach for all the time.

My kids and I drink a whole lot of these canned flavored water and likewise drinks. These aren't bad, but they're not my favorite. My daughter does like them. They, oddly, have a taste of a watered down seltzer (like a white claw) in my opinion. It says tropical berries flavor, which I can say i appreciate it not tasting like your typical coconut and pineapple tropical flavors. The price is standard, the taste is fine but not something i would likely buy again myself but I can see it being liked by the right flavor profile person.

The product arrived perfectly wrapped in cellophane and completely intact, which I appreciated. It felt like a high-quality item right from the start, and I will definitely be buying more in the future. I really enjoy seeing classic Asian fruit flavors like lychee in sparkling water. The taste is clean, light, and not overly sweet, with only 25 calories and 4g of sugar per can. It’s a nice alternative to typical mixers or standard lemon and berry sparkling waters. It’s fizzy, refreshing, and very versatile. I’ve used it for mocktails, cocktails, and also enjoy drinking it on its own. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something a little different and easy to keep stocked in the fridge.

The only good thing about this new formula is that it gave us a way to explain cost cutting and margin expansion to our children. We originally bought Sanzo for its unique flavor and no added sugars. Our daughters immediately noticed the flavor change in our most recent order and told us they thought the cans were expired. I tasted one and immediately knew it was not expired; tasted instead like cost-cutting. Will not be re-ordering.

The first thing I noticed is how refreshing it is, the light carbonation with a subtle burst of real lychee flavor that doesn’t taste artificial or overpowering. It reminds me of rambutan, a fruit I ate a lot growing up, and since I’m watching my sugar intake because I have gestational diabetes, this is a great alternative!

As several other reviewers mention they are a fan of the original formula, I agree with that sentiment in that I prefer the original over this updated version that has more ingredients. The original is simply carbonated water, lychee puree and citric acid which was light and delicious with just a hint of sweetness. Now enter the new version which also starts with carbonated water, next we have lychee juice rather than puree, cane sugar, citric acid, cassava root fiber, lychee flavor and monk fruit juice concentrate. I am guessing the new version with several more ingredients and sugars is a cheaper formula for the manufacturer as I can’t think of another reason for the change. I think it tastes pretty decent when served very cold, so the right temperature is key for me in enjoying the newer formula. I didn’t notice much of an aroma while sipping. I sipped again after it had been sitting on the counter for a bit and the taste seemed quite different, unpleasant in sweetness. I don’t think I will buy again since I don’t drink this fast enough to enjoy the whole can super cold. This new version reminds me of when a major manufacturer produces an updated version of soda which inevitably it full of additional sugar, and after time they revert back to the original formula. I hope Sanzo will revert back as well as the original is better. For the cost this just isn’t a decent value.

I really liked that these are low calorie since I tend to not like to drink my calories if I can avoid it. I like that exotic flavor but wish it was a bit more prominent. It is a nice break from lemon sparkling water or other generic flavors you find in most stores. Good amount of carbonation, I had mine chilled and it was quite refreshing to have. Will definitely be throwing them in my lunch bags for work to avoid the temptation of the vending machines. I like that the ingredients are natural and easy to pronounce. Overall great product, just would love to see a stronger taste profile even if that meant adding on a few extra calories.

The flavor is strong and seems more sour, bitter, or tart than it is sweet. No one in our family enjoyed it.
