But--would it deliver? It did. I'm happy to report that this bathing suit is so wonderful on a good number of points. First of all, please order your regular size. IRL I'm an 8 and thanks to stress-eating I'm teetering on a 10. After mulling over the Medium or Large, I settled on the Medium. Remember, swimsuits expand when wet so you want to get as close a fit as you can. The fit? It's great. I'm just a tad under 5 feet 6 inches. My legs aren't the longest, but my torso IS long-waisted. This can cause an issue with the majority of one-piece bathing suits. Luckily, this swimsuit fits beautifully. I don't have to pull out the bottom from being wedged in between my ample cheeks AND I don't have to worry about severe camel-toe from the front of the suit riding up my origin of the world! The fit is absolutely wonderful. Does it hold in my belly? Yeah. It does--to a point. A bit of the gut still pops out, but for the most part, it sucks the bad bits in. This suit also comes with detachable soft cups. Let's talk about this for a moment. I'm a hard-cup, flotation device pads kinda woman. After years of breastfeeding and with age comes a bit of sagging. If you have the saggy girls, might I suggest investing in a pair of hard cups because they insert perfectly and give a more flattering and youthful silhoutte and hold those babies up to be at their perkiest! The rusching is also an added feature for slimming. And that neckline. Oh lord, how I love that squared-off neckline. I''ll tell you something else. My husband is Parisien. That means he believes himself to be an expert on women's fashion. (eyeroll) He usually gives the French Shrug to any one-piece I've worn but..when I exited out of the ocean in this, he gave his seal of approval and told me that this bathing suit is spectacular. So I'm gonna surprise him by treating myself to a second one that he can pay for! Look. I realize that it's July and this summer has almost passed us by . But due to circumstances beyond our control, there's still plenty of sun and swime time! But for the remaining days till the Fall, this is the only suit you will need. The comfort level is stellar, as is the fit and it is flattering to boot. And don't even get me started on the price. When I received it today I was shocked how tiny the package was, it was the size of my phone, Immediately I said to myself, now that can't be from great quality and must be made thin and cheap. The color is real nice red, Material is soft and a bit thin. To me there is NO TUMMY CONTROLL what so ever. I am 5'1 125lbs and C/D Cup so I ordered a M, which was a bit to big and loose on me. It was not tight at all around the tummy section. It is more just ruffled fabric in the front but NO control. I own some bathing suits that actually have tummy control and those feel tight in the midsection, that means it holds your tummy in better. Since my Bust is a C/D I would love for the top to fit better. The Cup inserts made my breast look funny so I took them out and it look much more naturel, just with no support then. I will send it back and exchange for a size S to see if it fits better in the torso. If S is to small unfortunately I have to return it, but it is a very nice bathing suit for that money.
