I’ve tried several heat protection sprays and this one from Living Proof is one of my favorites. It protects hair up to high heat temperatures and helps keep hair smooth during styling. Things I like about it: • very lightweight • doesn’t leave hair sticky or stiff • helps reduce frizz • hair feels smooth after blow drying You don’t need to use a lot of product, so the bottle lasts a long time. If you regularly use blow dryers or flat irons, this is a great heat protectant to have.

my absolute ride or die, 1000% worth the price! TLDR: buy it, it's worth it I have fine hair but with a medium thickness to it. Most of my heat damage is coming from straightening or curling my hair every day. I've consistently bleached my hair in some manner for the last 7 years. I've tried SO MANY different brands and types of heats protectants and have gone back to this one every time. I use this heat protectant every time I apply heat and it gets layered on over the few days I go without washing my hair and it does not weigh down my hair AT ALL, there'es no crunch or weird feeling or film it leaves in my hair before or after using it with heat. My hair feels soft and still hydrated after using it. I have an issue and maybe it's just me but when I use a heat protectant, then heat then a hair oil to smooth everything, my hair gets stringy and looks visibly oily instead of soaking in and creating a shine, this has never happened with this heat protectant. The fragrance is definitely there but it's not bad. My setting spray for makeup is worse and that goes on my face. I only use aerosol heat protectants and this one hands down is worth every penny- even though it makes my pennies hurt every time I buy it. Pair it with the perfect hair day shampoo and conditioner and my hair is healing! (ILY Living Proof, please see this and send me something).

I ordered this heat spray because it is my current favorite to protect my dry, break-prone hair when I use heat tools. This new formula seems to work almost as well…but why the new addition of strong perfume? That CAN’T be healthy for hair - especially dry, delicate hair like mine. It’s the type of harsh, strong, perfumey smell that “old lady” hairspray (think AQUANET) has. I liked the milder scent my previous bottle had. Why must everything be so heavily scented?!
