Another nice product from Exo. Designed to work with the cage, this top fits tank very well. Solid construction, but has an awkward high profile appearance in order to fit the necessary light bulb. Works well with the Exo tank.

these nanos are so small I'm not even sure if it needs one of these. I got one for my 8X8X12 nano enclosure, and even with a really low wattage light on I was getting really hot temps in the terrarium. It's a little hard to create a gradient in such a small space.*EDIT*I just thought about it and I'm sure people in colder areas would benefit from this dome. Either way the construction is solid like the other domes and it works great!.

It’s a light canopy intended for the Exo Terra nano tanks or other similar sized ones....Does what it intended to do....Works fine with reptile specific compact bulbs also.

I bought this not really because we needed it for the Giant Rainforest Mantis in the terrarium but because it protects the screen top from collapsing under the weight of the cats who kept sitting on it. It works great for that.Any standard-size daylight spectrum CFL will work if you don't have specific lighting requirements for whatever you're keeping in it.

I have a "5 Gal Repitat Reptile Habitat" that I house my young Snake in. This light canopy fits great on top. The only thing I noticed, and this is why i didnt give it 5 stars, is that it is not level. There are 3 small pillars that allow it to lock in place when using it with the exo terra terrariums. You can sort of see these in the picture. The lack of a forth one makes it uneven on a flat surface. You can do as I did and just put a adhesive chair leg pad on it and that solves the problem, I show you this in the picture I added. But be aware that it is not level if you need it to be.Also in the description it says "Use with Exo Terra compact fluorescent (max 26W) or incandescent (max 40W) light bulbs".But on the box and in the manual it says incandescent (MAX 25W). Just something to be aware of if your using incandescent bulbs.I don't think it mentions this in the description either but this unit can not be used with a dimmer. It states this in the manual that comes with it. I guess a dimmer can cause it to fail and burn up or something.Great Canopy tho if you have a small Terrarium.

Bought it in march for my bearded dragon. Love the nano size and light it provides. I use it with Exo Terra Reptile UVB150 26W (PT2189) on the dark side of her terrarium. Works as detailed. No problems so far.

I got this for my 10 gallon vivarium for my bumblebee toads. It fits right on top and provides the light they need. Good quality product.

I raise dart frogs and build my own custom vertical vivariums. This guy fits perfectly on the smaller tanks I use to grow out froglets. It fits the JungleDawn 13w LED bulbs I use, which are longer than most CFLs, so it would also fit just about any normal 6500k CFL bulb as well.Sort of expensive for what it is, but it fits perfectly on small tanks, and it is cheaper/easier than making my own hoods.

Passt haargenau auf die kleinen Terrarien von Exo Terra. Sieht zudem auch noch super aus.

Ik zocht nog een lampkapje voor mijn nano terra voor het opkweken van mijn kikkers voor ze naar het groot terra gaan en dit is perfect hoe het hoord te zijn

Excellent produit

Wanted to add artificial light to my nano tall for my jumping spider and this did the trick perfectly. Obviously fits well and looks great. Need to monitor humidity as air flow may be restricted but the canopy does have some vent holes. Luckily I already had a daylight bulb by exo-terra because they cost more than the canopy!
