Phillips' Milk of Magnesia liquid laxative is one of my essential products for managing my constipation when my daily constipation regimen of Linzess and 2x/day Miralax is not effective or effective enough. The taste and texture of this product are as palatable as possible. I have had terrible responses to stimulant laxatives (using bisacodyl for colonoscopy prep landed me in the ER in excruciating pain due to colitis triggered by the bisacodyl), so I will only use non-stimulant laxatives. This product is my favorite osmotic laxative because it is effective yet gentle. It doesn't cause me massive or explosive diarrhea, yet it unclogs and clears out the constipation, which is such a welcome relief. If you want less effect, you can use a lower or half dose, which I sometimes do. This is a high-quality, effective and affordable product that does what it claims to do-unclog constipated poo!

This tastes better than expected, which is appreciated. I ordered this after trying multiple other laxatives that quit working after a couple of uses. This worked after a couple hours. I didn't have cramping, pain, or any side effects. It was effective and easy to use. Do make sure you follow the directions on drinking a full gas of water with it. I didn't, and an hour after taking I drank water and then it worked. I think it needs water to get everything moving along.

This product works exactly as promised. The texture is light, easy to take, and it provides quick and gentle relief. I appreciate that it works without causing discomfort, which not all similar products can offer. It’s reliable, safe, and great to have on hand whenever digestive support is needed. I cannot express how grateful I am for Phillips’ Milk of Magnesia. My 6-year-old daughter has struggled with severe constipation and stool withholding for over three years due to sensory processing issues. better tasting then the original thats for sure, took overnight to work , no cramps, hoped it worked sooner than over night but it worked

I am pretty constipated all the time. This is the only thing that has ever worked and has been consistent. I have you MANY AND COUNTLESS of laxative on the market. I have seen GI doctors and even had a colonoscopy at 29 because I have always had issues going. I have tried teas, chocolates, powders, gross supplements that tasted like dirt and everything stops working for me at some point or aren’t as effective. I do want to say that I don’t rely on these products to help me go but I do use the occasionally when I’m really having trouble. But yes this is a good choice if you’re like me and struggle. It doesn’t make my stomach hurt with cramps either which is always a plus, the only thing is that it makes me have bubble guts (I can physically feels almost like flutters of bubble in my bowels). I take this at night so it’s not an issue. Now the taste.. DISGUSTING. It tastes like Pepto Bismal.. I absolutely despise that taste. BUT BUT BIG BUT….. if you’re like me and hate that godforsaken flavor please try the OG one with no flavor and by far less atrocious, still not that pleasant but it’s bearable. That one taste more like.. plastic of something idk but if you swallow it fast (that’s what she said) then it’s not that bad. It’s also thick so if you have texture issues then I wish you well on your journey to find something that works for you. But if you’re a poor soul like me that’s turned every damn stone and tried every dang thing then look no further. Oh yeah btw this stuff CLEANS you out. Happy Pooping! :)
