I cannot express how grateful I am for Phillips’ Milk of Magnesia. My 6-year-old daughter has struggled with severe constipation and stool withholding for over three years due to sensory processing issues. We’ve been through it all — two pediatric gastroenterologists, numerous tests, hospital stays, Miralax, fiber gummies, dulcolax, and even Pedialax suppositories (which she absolutely dreaded). Having a difficult time going? This works well to clean out your tummy. No cramp or pain. I normally take either 1/2 of the lil cup that comes with it at night, and in the morning there is a relief. It does state that it usually works within 30 minutes. I guess it all depends on your body. But if your looking for relief, Phillips does work. Just don't do a full cup or you'll be visiting the toilet a few times. The cherry flavor is alright, not a fan of the mint flavor.

I love the cherry flavor. Most of the time it is cheaper on Amazon. The smell is yummy cherry. This is the most effective laxative I have found. It works every time.

It does the job. This rather old-fashioned remedy for constipation still delivers without toxic and/or other unknown additives in so many other products. Great value too.

better tasting then the original thats for sure, took overnight to work , no cramps, hoped it worked sooner than over night but it worked

This product is a life saver for those that have issues, if you know what I'm saying. Absolute five stars! That said, the advertisement is misleading. They state that it is a gentle relief in as little as a half hour. While it can work this fast, there is simply nothing gentle about it.One minute you're minding your own business doing chores or whatever, the next you feel a sudden rumble down below. This is your only warning to make a mad dash to the nearest restroom. It simply will not wait.What transpires after this warning isn't fit for print. It can be traumatizing to you and anyone unfortunate enough to be within hearing and smelling distance. I recommend having a toilet with a bodet or even a garden hose ran through the window for afterwords.Even with this dramatic escalation, it's absolutely worth it. Just be prepared. Perhaps after consuming, take your phone and a charger and just camp your loo. Trust me.
