Don't forget this valve!
Ditto on the winterizing! I just pressurized my system and the pump kept cycling every minute or so. Went out to look around and this was dripping to almost a stream of water. Hooked up the quick connect hose to try to flush possibly sum muck from the system, got a little bit of stuff but still leaky. Took it off and exercised it and pulled out some more stuff. Hooked it up and it leaked worse......came to the conclusion that it was frost damage, I don't remember blowing this out or running anti freeze in the line. This will do the trick though. Fast shipping with prime, and works like new.I do like having this sprayer. Very nice as far as utility goes.

It's just like the one I replaced except it isn't brass all the way through like the old one. It only has the brass hose adapter on the outside. The backside is plastic. Hence the reason for the 4 stars. Installed easily.

Fails?
This item came installed in our RV. Two have failed already and just stops letting water through. I have another one being shipped from the RV factory. Seems like a pretty simple product with not much to fail . . .

NOT SURE HOW USEFUL THIS ITEM IS
This product was purchased to replace the same exact fitting that came installed on our 2011 Aerolite Hybrid. I possibly did not bleed this fitting while winterizing the camper to get the anti freeze into the fitting. While setting the camper up in the spring I could not get the original to seal completely resulting in a drip under pressure. This replacement solved the problem and was easy to install. However I am not sure if this, or any outside RV shower serves a useful purpose. First off RV's do not operate at any normal amount of water pressure, especially using your 12 volt pump. Although I would not say you only get a trickle through the nozzle of the hose, its not mauch more than a trickle. Possibly better using city water pressure however without an inline pressure regulator on your city water connection to reduce any incoming pressure to 30 lbs your taking a chance blowing a fitting loose on your RV's plex plumbing. May be good for rinsing off your dog or something but thats about it. Your not going to wash the RV with it.

Perfect Match For My Travel Trailer
Had to replace this port after I neglected to purge the water from the line before the first freeze hit. it was easy to install and the port works perfectly!

great product
I bought this to replace a broken original part on my RV. I only reduced from 5 stars because I would have rather had a full brass body as was the original and the description said nothing of it being either way. It's been on a while, no leaks, functions properly and that's all you can ask for.

Replaces frozen unit
Husband's Review: We are RV newbies (though both of us are way into our senior years) with our first trailer last year. When I winterized the system I completely forgot the trailer had the hookup for a sprayer so of course I didn't get antifreeze into the unit. When I turned the water on a few days ago water was coming from the port and I determined that it had frozen and a small hole developed. I was so glad to save a few dollars by ordering replacement on Amazon. Prime shipping was a day late but that was OK as it is still a bit cold to camp out. Box said unit had solid brass connections. The input end and back flow unit are plastic now though the older unit was brass. Sign of the times I would guess - plastic is cheaper than brass. I installed the unit and everything seems fine. Would have been 5 stars if all brass.
