Sounds great, nice features. I don't really like that the phantom power is either off or on all four mic channels. Other than that, it's good. The software interface is easy to navigate. Strong headphone volume. Stronger output volume. With my monitors on the same volume setting as my last interface, I can barely turn this one up or it'll be too loud. The only other gripe would be that they make the USB cable so short on all of these interfaces these days though everyone knows we don't want the computer near.

Not sure what people do when they claim it does not work with Win10, I used 4Ch model on 2 PCs Laptop and desktop, removed and reinstalled drivers because there are 2 different control panels available for WIN 10 and all works fine. After driver installation just restart PC. Driver does not ask for restart, but it seem to help if you restart PC anyway. After that, PC works reliably, I run teleconference using TASCAM every day of the week, many hours straight SKYPE, Microsoft Teams . Never had Win10 issue with TASCAM. It feels solid, audio is awesome.

The converters are quite good and dead quiet. Mic preamps are mostly transparent. Driver is stable and allows very low buffer sizes to be used for low latency recording. Recommend.

I absolutely love this unit! Sounds great, worked immediately when I plugged into my new mac though you'll need a USB to USB-C adaptor. Love the 2 headphone inputs etc. I use this with Protools 11 but will have to upgrade soon. I works with Big Sur on my new mac like a charm. In fact I opened the box on the new mac and plugged this unit in to do a session on garageband and it worked immediately. Make sure the included ac adaptor is plugged in if you're using a phantom power mic or it will not work even if the switch is on. I use a warm audio mic and love it and am mainly using for fiverr sessions for anything keyboards. 100% buy. It's an older unit but works perfectly. If it's fixed don't break it!!!!

This buy taught me a valuable lesson going forward. If something does not work right out of the box... REPLACE IT!!! I guess I just kept hoping that it just needed a bit of time to adjust. When I first got it, all four inputs turned on, less than a week later I was down to two. I have a podcast with my sister and we batch record our episodes so I put it away for months after that ... BAD IDEA. I'm now 4 months from my one year purchase anniversary, no warranty, and now just ONE of the inputs can hold power. I've been to reddit and I've seen others have this problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Using mainly to bring my old 4 track tape songs into Cubase. Very smooth convertors with lots of head room. Small issue getting Windows to recognize drivers but resolved quickly after a couple restarts. Just started live recording with it, but so far it has worked flawlessly with great results. Very nice interface with a bonus low price.

Just ordered my second one. Love this piece of hardware. All of the knobs feel premium and the power supply lets me run audio to my laptop without worrying about draining the laptop battery. Great price and great quality. Way better than the focusrites that have broken on me

Loved the design and the ability to switch between mic/line. However the Asio drivers did not work properly on my Windows 10 pro setup. Studio One 5 did not recognize the unit at all, Wavelab 11 did but if I clicked on a different part of the screen it stopped working. Tried very hard to get this to work but after two weeks I gave up and returned it and bought a Presonus studio 68c which works fine on the same system.

I bought this for live performances and studio recording. I immediately noticed an improvement in the audio quality compared to my old focusrite Scarlett solo. The high sampling rate is definitely much appreciated for music making as it delivers higher audio quality from your Daw. I love that it has 4 inputs, 4 outputs and 2 headphone outputs. It's a great unit and I am loving it so far. Will be good to record some 4-mic drum setup, or multiple vocal mics simultaneously. The 4 outputs are great if you are routing some main outputs and monitors separately. Phantom power does require external power supply (included) hut otherwise you can run it on USB only if phantom is not needed (which is great). It also has full midi capability which is a plus. I ran it live last weekend for a gig and I'm super happy with the results

I use this interface as part of my very minimalistic live rig for backing tracks. I use AUM on an iPad and I have a bluetooth controller so I have hard buttons and faders to control AUM. The Tascam interface "talks" great to AUM, so I can route signals through the Tascam US-4x4HR in any configuration I choose. It's a great setup and the Tascam makes a simple but high audio quality centrepiece for the system.

Una interface muy amigable y lo bonito de todo es que es compatible con cualquier computadora con sistemas operativos recientes, en mi caso es compatible con la nueva versión de big sur, tiene buena calidad en el audio.
