Inflatable Collar | Great Alternative to a Dog Cone | Comfy Recovery Collar for Large Dogs (Blue)

Our dog was over grooming her tail, and as she's a golden retriever the plastic cones are awful. She's very affectionate, and the whole household ends up with bruised legs from the hard edges!This is so much better! The cover is soft but strong, and the design is brilliant. It was super easy to fit, it goes on her everyday collar with no problems. We did have to give it a bit more air every day, as it started to deflate and she could reach around it, but it was easy enough to do. She seemed happy enough to sleep in it, though we should have taken the warnings seriously as it does make her snore. Loudly. A lot.The cover is simple to remove for washing, it just goes in with the regular laundry. The inner is very sturdy, there were no holes so I assume the very slow leak was due to the seams. Very easy to fill, and easy to top up. The dog seemed content enough to wear it, and very happy with all the attention she was getting greeting people at the front door with her special donut! Well worth the cost, we've packed it away until next time!

Excellent post surgery collar which is far kinder than the more common rigid cone of shame. Offers the same protection but without the spacial obstruction and extreme limitations to the dogs movements. No panic, no fuss and comfortable enough to wear day and night while still keeping everything except perhaps the end of a very long tail safe.

Purpose for us:To stop our pup from licking his stiches post castration surgery+ Despite his efforts he could not reach to lick the area+ He didn't put up any resistance to put this on and seemed comfortable enough with it (but he generally is laid back and not fussy about having things on him)+ Seemed to make a nice pillow for him when sleeping and did indeed make him snore+ He was still able to get to his food/water bowl with it on+ Better than a traditional cone. Also better than the jumper onesies which we tried first and didn't work!+ So cute!- A bit expensive for what it is- He wasn't able to go up/down the stairs with it on as he would trip- Had to take it off for walks/toilet trips to stop it getting dirty- however it is easy enough to remove the fabric to put in the washOverall:Done what we need, would recommend and would use it again if needed

So much nicer than a vets cone. Clearly more comfortable for the dog, soft, doesn’t rub. Keeps her from scratching her wound on her head. Looks so much prettier than a plastic cone, fun donut design. She hasn’t been able to pull it off. Doesn’t make her look like a sick dog. Was easy to inflate and put on her. Size guide was perfect, fitted my golden retriever just right

The inflatable doughnut collar arrived in a cute matching box and contained a repair patch. I immediately needed to purchase an inflator pump, I could not inflate this using lung power.This was most effective when fully inflated, the dog was happy to wear it 24/7. I found out it had slightly deflated the next morning one time, it wasn't obvious but it wasn't stopping the dog from licking anything. It needed a little more air, and I had to remove it from the dog to do that because she's terrified of things that make noises. Then she could scratch, lick and bite freely until it was back on.As she got used to it she was still able to reach and lick or chew her back end and feet, but not as much as without it on.I think if she had an abdominal injury or surgery it would be fine and she wouldn't be able to lick that.I removed and washed the cover after an ear infection when it got very smelly. The cover washed fine. The doughnut did stop her from scratching her ear.The doughnut deflates again for storage back in its box.

This is a beautifully soft velvet textured fabric and was just what I needed for my Miniature Dachshund, who had a ‘mass’ removed from her left front leg! She has previously had 2 major Soinal surgeries, as has her Sister, which meant they had to wear the awful plastic cone from the Vets! They both hated them and looked so sad for weeks! This time I decided to research Amazon for a kinder alternative! With their little legs, they cannot clear the ground with the plastic cone! With this super soft and light ‘Donut’, it has been so much easier! I have been stopped in the street by many Dog owners asking me where I got it from and I’ve thoroughly recommended it. I’m sure she will be glad when it is removed, but in the meantime, she is reasonably happy and hasn’t been able to get at her 14 Stitches! Delivery was swift; next day! It is good quality. Only one thing that would improve it. The black tape and buckle at the top needs a loop to hold the excess tape provided for adjustment! My girl kept treading on the long end as she walked! I tied it up many times…but a loop, like on a belt would be much better. Thanks so much for a very good 5 Star product!

The media could not be loaded.  This is ,a comfortable option if your dog needs a cone of shame to stop biting their legs. As you can see, it doesn't impeed playing. In fact one of my dogs favourite ways to play with his toy is to lie on his back trying to squish it, rolling over it and then trying to hold it above and dropping it. This doughnut pillow still allows him to do this.Did take it off when the weather got hotter, as he would have overheated otherwise, but he still lay jis head on it as a pillow, so oviously liked it. 🙂However he has worked out that if he rolls around he can turn it and where it is all clipped gives him more room to move his head, so not completely fullprovze, but blowing in some more air helped solve that issue.

I got this cute donut e-collar for my corgi to make her post-surgery more comfortable. Besides being really cute, its function was perfect and it can be washed which is a plus. 10/10 would recommend
