Very very thin metal . The bottom part of the metal is not curved for mixing when using for making desserts.. the quality is not superior. Prone to being dented very easily.

I bought a set with clear lids. The lids are loose! Tried so many times in different ways, no luck! Absolutely waste of money…!

I ordered this set of bowls several months ago. At the time, I had a set of plastic bowls that just weren't doing the trick. On a whim, I ordered these and I haven't looked back. I've used these bowls for a variety of uses: making guacamole, mixing seasonings, tossing wings, storing watermelon... For every one of these uses, the bowls have worked well and been easy to clean afterwards. What's more is that, even after storing something in a bowl for several days, the smell doesn't linger in the bowl like it does for my other plastic ones. Anything that gets crusted on is cleaned off with easy. And even better: the lids provide a great seal, making storage even easier. I would highly recommend this set for anybody looking for a set of mixing bowls or even just something to store food in.

Its not exactly airtight but just a lid over the bowls . The material of the bowls are not the solid type, very light. What a shame. Its not as what it advertised
